She feels a jolt pass through her body as the energy strikes her... and then a throbbing develop in her head. Emotions start to well up inside her, memories mustered by the psychic energies. She can recall the people at the arcade, their expressions of discomfort and disapproval at her appearance. Every look of uneasiness, every stifled insult, each memory is amplified in Sam's mind, encouraging feelings of anger and revenge. These people, with their dislike for transformations... so smug in their superiority. How did they know how it felt to be transformed? They deserved to be brought down a notch, to be taught a lesson. Let them suffer, so that they could feel outcast too! Turn them into what they hated, so that they could be hated! They deserve it!
As Sam's body twitches from the assault, Alyssa's eyes widen. "D... Don't hurt her!" she pleads, glancing at the grinning girl in the cloak, before looking back at Sam with concern.
KonokoHasano wrote:"That they chose the park because of all the people that would gather there after work, and something about it being a bigger show than what happened to the council. Honestly, I mostly thought they were just going to pull a large prank or something, though now I'm not so sure."

A bit about myself I suppose could be summed up in 'primordial energy entity capable of manifesting a material form subject to shapeshifting'. My powers would take too long to list so lets assume that if you can think of it I can do it with the exception of evolving I suppose. I technically can never rise above the position I already hold either. I can however adapt rapidly to environment, threats, and events. That work for you?

Getting to a near fetal position, she struggles against the emotions welling up inside of her, tears welling up in her eyes.
Aeris wrote:Reya and Maris are uninjured from their little scuffle, though the both seem to have some burned clothing due to their earlier encounter and use of powers/handgun. Reya sighs at the fussing regardless and then seems surprised at the mention of the evacuation.
"Wait, Evacuation?"
'Sis, Maris wants to know what evacuation is!'
"It means... leaving."
'Maris doesn't want to leave though, Reya~'
Reya looks at the supervisor pleadingly, hoping for some sort of an explanation.

Glancing at the doors that led out onto the playing field, her eyes narrowed a little. While she got on with most of her fellow cheerleaders, she knew from past experience how inferior they could make you feel if you were not one if them. Perhaps bringing Yuki here had not been such a smart idea. Stroking the girl's back in an almost mother-like way, she made a suggestion. "Why don't I skip practice and hang out with you?".
After months of having no challenge better than schoolboys a few years older than her, Summer's lust for fighting was too strong for her to ignore and take the sensible option. Stuffing the phone into her back pack, she crawled out from beneath the van and got to her feet in a fast and fluid movement. Her blonde ponytail swung from side to side, her short skirt swishing around as leapt up from behind the soldier, trying to wrap her arms around his neck, while her feet swung out to press against the side of the van for leverage.
Azathoth wrote:The field Commander humphs. "So your just a bunch of punks who thought you would cause some chaos..." He pauses. "Would you and your friends be interested in jobs? Black Isles Tech works with transformitive technology... and we make sure things font get boring. If you want we could even haul in the zombie girls out there and give them an antidote..."
Azathoth wrote:The soldiers clear the bunker. "All clear, boss..." The Scientist hops down... looking around at the scene. "Hmm... this looks... suspect. Leave a Tech with a cracker here... give them a blink suit as well. We likely wont be back here. The rest pack it up and continue."
A scientist woman with thick glasses heads out of the armored van and into the facility. She huffs at the soldiers... before heading over to the maintenence network and going to patch into the system manually. The rest of them get into the van and head off! "To the Color Containment Facility... its time we stop playing around..." The Van drives onwards! Remaining cloaked.

The memories and emotions continue to bombard Sam's mind! Every time she tries to resist them, she can feel them surging up stronger, like a memory you try to forget -- but can't. She finds herself obsessing over disdainful look, every time someone looked uncomfortable around her. Thoughts wriggle into her mind, about how everyone thinks she's a freak, an aberration, about how they all think she's worthless and should disappear. She can feel her hands clenching, as thoughts of revenge start to burn in her heart. She'll show them just how wrong they are -- won't she? She's stronger than they think, strong enough to show them! She's strong enough to-
"YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!" she can hear Alyssa shout, the woman leaping over her prone figure to swing her fist at the girl in the cloak!
Jello Shot Mischa wrote:The girl in the uniform frowns, and murmurs something under her breath. After a moment, the vertol gunships swing away, and roar off towards the central park. The girl, meanwhile, glances at Ashley. "Hmm. I suppose now I have to decide what to do with you. You've caused a fair amount of trouble, but nothing that you did was permanent nor lethal..." she admits.
Jello Shot Mischa wrote:The dorm head pauses a moment. "Oh... I see." She smiles, and kneels down by Maris. "You see, Academy City was built so that the people that lived there could be safe. This includes some very well protected shelters built underground. Every neighbourhood in the city has them, and they're strong enough to even protect us against a nuclear strike. So if it seems like everyone is in danger, the CTC will tell us to go to the shelters, so that we'll all be safe while they take care of the problem."

The girl glowers at the Field Commander's disdainful comment, but at the offer of a job, she pauses, shifting a bit uneasily. "What... what would we have to do?" she asks, obviously wary of being used as test subjects or something like that.
Meanwhile, outside the van, the soldier that the Field Commander had sent to take a look around find himself suddenly attacked by a schoolgirl, which wraps her arms around his neck in a tight squeeze! This might not be too serious, given that he's wearing powered body armor... but she seems to be unnaturally strong, the armor groaning in her grip!

The Tech is left behind with a cracking device and a blink suit to escape with. What does she do? The terminals seem to have some access ports, presumably for system maintenance and observation...
Meanwhile, the van approaches the walls of the inner structure of the Color Isolation and Containment Facility, the armored concrete dome looming overhead. No one appears to have noticed the cloaked van. There are a few entrances, as noted previously. What will they do now?
Aeris wrote:Maris blinks at the dorm head and then nods, smiling at her. "Maris is impressed with this explanation! Maris thanks the dorm head!"
Reya shakes her head as Maris speaks in emotes/smilies again, but then asks the dorm head, "So if we're going to evacuate where will we go? Is there some evacuation plan that we should know about in case you're not around? I don't want us to get caught in any emergency without knowing what to do..."
Reya earnestly looks concerned with her expression, but her posture looks slightly guarded to the dorm head, perhaps. Maris just seems excited in general, no surprise there.

Her body twitched, muscles spasming as the electricity jumped through her, her eyes wide in suprise, her arms and legs flailing as a harsh pain erupted through her chest.
Katherine released her from the hug, and climbed to her feet. Lifting her bag, she slipped it up over her shoulders. "C'mon, let's get out of here before the coach comes looking for me", she grinned, the cheerleading skirt swishing around as she hurried over to the door and held it for Yuki.
Raleigh wrote:Sure that is fine. Call the head of the CTC to be there too if you would. I don't mind playing guinea pig for awhile for you guys and this would give us all a chance to chat together.

Meanwhile, the soldier outside... is startled! He drops his rifle... bringing his power armored hands to grab at the girl's arms. Meanwhile... the tesla coils on his shoulders crackle... then flare up! Engulfing the soldier in a field of high voltage electricity!
Azathoth wrote:The tech sits down at a chair, plugging her laptop into an access port! She sees what she can see about whats happening here...
Meanwhile... the Van drives up to the wall of the huge dome! Furthest away from any ports or openings. Driving up along side of it, the side of the van folds out and latches onto the wall. As laser cutting tools get to work... evaporating the concrete and armor as they cut inwards... looking for an access point.

She felt her hands clench, but in doing so, she tries to clench them as tightly as she could...she...this wasn't right...was it? However, she couldn't get the chance to quite try and clear her thoughts, as she suddenly heard Alyssa yell, eyes wide. Looking over at Alyssa, she looked at her and immediately began to try and concentrate on her friendship.
Jello Shot Mischa wrote:The transformed girl frowns as the Field Commander explains rather nonchalantly that she and her companions would likely end up as footsoldiers. "What... you'd just turn us into some kind of army grunts?" she mutters. "Spending my days taking orders from someone else doesn't sound too great."
Meanwhile, the soldier grabs ahold of the girl that ambushed him, and she twitches and spasms in his grip as the electricity courses through her body! She doesn't seem as tough as he might've first thought... perhaps he overestimated her? Or mistook a normal schoolgirl for someone else?
Jello Shot Mischa wrote:The tech assesses the computer system! She'll find herself being given access to the maintenance routines, used to monitor the operating performance of the computers in the bunker. What she can tell at first glance is kind of baffling -- there's probably thousands of independent processes running in parallel, all operating independently and simultaneously. They all seem to be operating within a larger set of programs, however... some kind of simulation?
The Van arrives at the wall of the huge dome, finding a spot well away from any of the main entrances, or the auxiliary service entrances. The laser tools latch onto the wall, and start cutting away at the material! Even the first cut proves to be a bit troublesome, however, as what looks like reinforced concrete is apparently chemically reinforced to be even more durable and heat-resistant. Several inches in, the lasers strike a polycomposite armor layer, designed for high tensile strength as well as even more thermally resistant. Cutting through that takes some time, after which is another layer of reinforced superconcrete...
Just how well armored is this facility? It isn't until they've cut around three feet in that they start striking utility conduits and the like, although none are large enough to offer access to a human. Still, interior rooms may not be much further beyond, as the conduits have to service something...
Is this facility built this strong to keep people out... or to keep something in?
Jello Shot Mischa wrote:Sam looks up to see Alyssa charging the girl in the cloak, who seems startled by the sudden attack. "Wha...?" is about all the girl can muster, before Alyssa delivers a powerful right hook right to her face! "S-Sam!" she shouts, glancing back at her, tears obvious in her eyes.
Sam can feel memories of their friendship welling up... all of the times she and Jon helped her, took care of her, looked after her. Alyssa didn't hate her... she considered her a friend, no matter what the strange girl's spell tried to make her think.
But beyond Alyssa, Sam can see the girl with the wand staggering to her feet, rage in her eyes. "That... for that, I'm gonna turn you into a slug! Or a WORM! You can spend the rest of your miserable life digging through the DIRT!" she shouts, raising her wand to point straight at Alyssa!
The schoolgirl considers Ashley for a moment. "That would certainly go a long ways to making amends," she says. "From what you said, there is some kind of major plan underway at the central park. We already have a number of forces mobilizing to contain the area, but if you can get there quickly and perhaps put a stop to whatever they have planned... well, we'd be willing to forgive any past transgressions. Perhaps even reward you for saving the lives of many innocent civilians."
