"That is true but I-I don't think I can be convincing enough...." said Maya who seem nervous. "Sometimes people don't listen to me."

"In conclusion, we here at Niflheim like to think of ourselves as a strict parent. Tough, but fair."

The film ends.

Sam sits there for a few moments, a bit taken back by the abrupt ending, frowning and 'hm'ing to herself, before taking a glance over to Miccah.

[Victorious]

Fimbulvetr smirks a bit.

"You mentioned that you were ruled by a tyrant back home? I imagine you're a freedom fighter of some sort, trying to oust your rulers. Can you tell me with all honesty, the rebellion hasn't done bad things in pursuit of that goal?"

She puts an arm around Victor's shoulder.

"And yet, you must continue because you believe what you're doing to be the right thing. That it will improve the lives of everyone?"

Freezing at her touch, Victor considers her queries a moment, and then shakes her head, looking her in the eyes.

"I can tell what you're trying to do..."

--And with sudden speed, her rune starts to glow as she ducks back and holds out her hand, attempting to teleport Fimbulvetr out of the building!

"...And it won't work!"

[Miccah]

Sam sits there for a few moments, a bit taken back by the abrupt ending, frowning and 'hm'ing to herself, before taking a glance over to Miccah.

Miccah sighs, her little ears flicking about as she tries to make sense of it all. She catches Sam's glance, and shrugs back- "Well... I guess it can be agreed on that she did some good... but surely there must also be a darker side to all of this..." She sage nods, or at least, as sagely as a small kitten can nod.

THe gynoid nods and thinks for a moment.

"Well... I cannot be 100% certain about the non-aggression pact, but a mutual trade of technology would be likely. As for out goals, that is simple. The expansion of our company across several worlds through any means."

The uniformed woman considers the gynoid for a moment, her head tilted speculatively. "I'd be curious to know what the assessed probabilities for those outcomes were, and the decision trees you followed..." She chuckles. "But no matter. Most of that information would be regarding Miss Fimbulvetr's behavior and personality, and thus likely quite private."

She shrugs. "In that case then, I will ask: what are your company's current intentions towards this world, in particular? There seems to have been a certain amount of interdimensional activity around this facility since its first appearance, indicating that you're currently active in operations elsewhere, but aside from the recorded appearance of a massive combat vehicle previously, Miss Fimbulvetr seems to have shown little sign in aggressively expanding here at this point in time."

[Azathoth]

THe robot zones out for a moment before smiling.

"Miss Fimbulvetr says that he should have come here himself then and not sent a, and I quote, 'Rusting pile of bolts that I would patch up a leaky oil drum with.' unquote."

The android stares for a moment... before replying. "Mister Azer does not go out unless the situation calls for it. He has disposable minions for things like this." The android pauses a moment, then continues. "Mister Azer challenges Fimbulvetr to pit a machine against his representative, to 'show the upstart what Black Isles is capable of.'"

The android rolls his eyes, obviously uninterested in the ego contest it found itself caught in.

[Blaze]

She smiled at that. "Thanks, I was half expecting them to try to do something."

"Nah, they care about the people and wouldn't want them to be harmed."

She pats Ryu on the butt.

"Now, payment~ Want money... or an upgrade?"

The gynoid smiles for a moment.

"Well, miss Fimbulvetr first tried to conquer this land by force, but [DATA EXPUNGED] made her reconsider. Now she wishes to conquer it through less violent means."

Fimbulvetr grins as she starts to glow with a red light. Her single exposed eye burns brightly as her pupil expands, forming into a cancelling rune like the one that prevented Victor from Blinking out before! Victor can feel the rune preventing hers from working!

"How cute~ Thinking you can escape with that little Blink rune~"

Azer will create a portal to his testing range... it should serve well enough as an arena. The stakes he suggests are this: If his representative, that is to say me, defeats your machine. I am to be dealt with seriously on Azer's behalf at this location. And allowed to see what it is you are up to here. If I happen to be scrapped, Azer will personally make a visit here himself, and treat you as an equal fully worth his time."

[Victorious]

"W-well then plan B!"

Spinning, she makes a beeline for the exit!

Spinning, she makes a beeline for the exit!

Fimbulvetr grins and grabs Victor by the scruff of the neck.

"Not so fast. I have another job for you."

Her pupil twists, changing into an advanced blink rune as she teleports Victor and herself to the entrance foyer!

"I do~ Now off you go!"

Fimbulvetr shoves Maya into the portal!

"Oh re-AHHHH~" yelled Maya as she was pushed into the portal and was rolling into it.
