Looking for Blaze

[Blaze]

Blaze looks at the girl with a raised eyebrow.

"Why would they grant her a weapon?"

[Feng]

"Never question a sorcerer's logic" says Bones sagely. "You'll find that few possess that vital element of common sense~!" ^_^


The head cheese speaketh!

"We welcome thee of Messenger of Fallen Pepper!" says the leader with a chuckle, his words echoed by his peers. "May thee grant us prosperity on our ventures as we work to carry out the will of our mutual benefactors!"

"Whoa...." says Gustav-Chan, rubbing the back of her head. "Where am I? And why does my head huuuuurt~?" >.<

She turns to a random Chibi sorcerer and suddenly tackle-hugs him!

"OHMYGOSH! YOU GUYS ARE SOOOO TINY! KAWAAAAIIII~"

[Blaze]

Blaze gently slaps her forehead with her palm. THe gas mask is preventing a proper facepalm.

"Of course..."

[Feng]

Bones patpats Blaze~


With much effort the Chibi sorcerer manages to squeeze his way out of Gustav's vice grip. o.o

"Our handiwork is most impressive" grins the Sorcerer. "Our patron Winged Serpent will be most pleased~!"

A group of Chikuza suddenly put a bag over Gustav-Chan's head and begin to drag her out.

"Heeeey! Who turned out the liiiights?" @.@

"Gentlemen," says the leader to his fellows "I feel a fifteen minute break is in order! Shall we retire to the common room for tea and snacks?"

There is the sound of approval as the Chibi begin to file out, leaving the two investigators the only people in the room.

[Blaze]

Blaze bats Bones's hand away.

"Right, what now? Investigate the area?"

[Feng]

"Close!" says Bones as he sneaky-sneaks over to a bookshelf in the corner and begins searching the various texts. "Now then, where is it?"

[Blaze]

Blaze looks over Bones's shoulder as he browses the shelf.

"What are you looking for?"

[Feng]

There is a certain tome here, one that will provide the means for us to save Doc and perhaps even Pepper herself... Its a tome written by the blind sorcerer Soaring Toaster that lists his wisdom concerning his experiments with the Dream Weave. He was particularly interested in the politics of the Chibi Guardians and the mechanics involved in corruption..."

[Blaze]

"Okay okay. Search fast, we probably don't have much time." Blaze says, her voice filled with urgency.

[Feng]

"Noted" says Bones as he meticulously searches for the tome. As he searches Blaze can hear the sounds of footsteps approaching...

[Blaze]

"... Bones, faster..."

Blaze takes out two smaller scrolls and unfurls them in preparation.

[Feng]

"Aha!" shouts Bones, grabbing a leathery black tome. "Found it!"

The voices are louder still as the foot steps reach the threshold of the doorway.

"Smoking Toaster!" rasps Bones, sweating bullets. "Time to flee~!" O_Q

[Blaze]

"Freaking finally!"

Blaze takes a smoke grenade, pulls the pin and drops it.

"Lead the way!"

[Feng]

This way sounds Bones as he drags Blaze south.

"Oof! No wait that's a wall... This way" he exclaims pulling Blaze back into the passageway just in time for it to seal...

[Blaze]

Blaze follows Bones... to their doom?

"Smooth mastermind. Real smooth." She mutters, rolling her eyes
