Two more robots approach, one carrying rocket boots and the other carrying an arm cannon.

Ryu's eyes stare specifically with the rocket boots. "I'll go with those, they'll be awesome."

The gynoid nods.

"Naturally. Not everything goes according to plan. What is your point."

Miccah blinks... then frowns- "My point is... what you guys do isn't quite as... nice as that film makes it out to be..." She grumps, crossing her arms as she glowers at the gynoid.

The gynoid smiles and nods at the robot.

"He is projecting a strange field that we do not recognize. We would be interested in that technology. In exchange, we could offer you some of the secrets behind out robots."

The silver-haired woman glances back at her escort, a speculative look on her face. "Well, that particular technology is a significant tactical advantage for us," she admits. "Although it may be feasible to share the technology behind the more preliminary design of that defense. What sorts of secrets might you have to offer in exchange?"

Maya can feel her brain automatically sending the information to base and requesting instructions.

The robot leads Ryu over to a bed.

Miccah blinks... then frowns- "My point is... what you guys do isn't quite as... nice as that film makes it out to be..." She grumps, crossing her arms as she glowers at the gynoid.

Ryu hops onto the bed and lays down, looking at the ceiling.

"You get payed! Plus a hefty bonus." Fimbulvetr says.

She then sighs and pats Victor's shoulder.

"I can understand you being distrustful of me. But you've seen we try to do some good. But this other company only seems to be in it for themselves... And really, you wouldn't be doing much. Just deciding a meeting schedule. With your cannon and tri-pronged vibroblade."

"My...what and what and what?"

She frowns, and shakes her head. This was...an improvement? Maybe? She wasn't sure.

"...Alright--whatever, I'll do this. But after that I'm out of here!"

The robots swarm on Ryu, removing her current feet, spray-painting the rocket boots to match her current shell and attaching them. Takes about two minutes

"My...what and what and what?"

A minimap pops up in the corner of Maya's vision with a red line showing what way to go.

"OH!" said Maya who was still not use to being part robotic. She tried looking in the direction of the minimap and was slowly following where it was leading her.

"Why do I need to locate the na-na-naites?" asked Maya who was trying to communicate with the entity that was giving her orders.

"Whoa... that was quicker than I thought it'd be." She said, impressed. Though she was still weirded out by the fact that her feet got removed so easily like that and replaced by new ones.

The woman considers a moment. "Well, new advances in fabrication methods may prove useful in helping to maintain our own supplies of materiel..." she finally admits. "How would you prefer to conduct the exchange?"
