Dact looks slightly dazed and bruised... but not too broken. "Um... yeah! I just heard about this kind of late... I was far away... so... um... You travel pretty fast via rail cannon."

He shrugs. "Anyway! Can I help you?"

"Umm....yes maybe. I want to go on an adventure. There be treasure! I don't mind splitting it evenly with you," said Maya as she pulls on the skirt of her nurse's uniform. "I really need help...I can't do much so I am hoping people like you could help me."

He nods, smiling! "Sure! I live for this kind of thing... I'd love to help."

He nods, smiling! "Sure! I live for this kind of thing... I'd love to help."

"OH! Thank you! What is your name by the way?" asked Maya as she looks at Dact and pulls on her skirt a bit. "Mines is Maya by the way. I am not very good at fighting but I do know a bit about healing and stuff. I can make bombs but that is all."

Gives a wave to Dact. "I'm Ashley Carol Hampton Ferguson, vampire of 1548-years-old."

"Nice to meet you, Maya... I am Dactylos. Knight Errant... my skills are... varied. I'm a professional adventurer... melee combat my specialty."

He looks to Ashley! "Huh... just to let you know, I have holy water of every denomination and religion known for the last five thousand years in my pack. Just, you know... a heads up."

"Oh that is good to know. I am sure you will be a great help," said Maya as she smiled happily and a bit relieved.

"Oh no! Ashley is going to help us as well! He said so," said Maya trying to defend the vampire.

"I'll do my best..." He nods, grinning. Then looks to Ashley again. "We have a vampire helping us? Funsies... this should be interesting..."

"Well that's a fine way to greet someone there, buddy; first thing out of the mouth upon knowing I'm a vampire being a threat." Ashley said with a half-lidded stare. "I'm capable of controlling any and all paper that you'd find hanging around places. Don't think that's a weak power, because I can make it impervious to fire and water, and even make it good at shielding from explosions. I'm even capable of manipulating magnetism, meaning I could easily control the iron in your blood to shoot out of your body like a fountain. Not to mention a great martial artist and mage that could cause you pain 500 ways to Sunday. Just, you know... a heads up to you as well."

"I'll do my best..." He nods, grinning. Then looks to Ashley again. "We have a vampire helping us? Funsies... this should be interesting..."

"Yeah, so let's try to NOT kill each other, okay?" He asked, giving a smile. "Because I'm keeping my eye on you."

"Umm...Please don't do that to us," said Maya with wide eyes once Ashley mentions the ability to control the iron in her blood.

"How about we head over to where we need to go," said Maya as she nods slowly as she was getting over the thought of her blood coming out of her like a fountain.

"I'm surprised that living as long as you have your surprised that the first thing out of my mouth is a warning. Considering your kind subsides on gnawing on people's necks for sustenance... I know some people who would have broken out the torches and pitchforks at the suggestion of someone being a vampire."

"Luckily... I'm not one of them. Just dont go all Nosferatu on innocent puppies or something and I'll stay civil."

He looks back to Maya. "Yeah... I'm anxious to know where we are headed..."

Ashley gives a shrug. "I'm not surprised, really. It's just that I've rarely had to deal with talk like that while here, and talk like that has always irked me to no end." He nods. "I've met MANY of those kinds in the past... which was a crazy time that I'd rather not get into at the moment. Besides, while I do like something fresh once in a while, I have my own stores of preserved blood that I'll often drink so as to not cause issues around me. Human blood also isn't the only kind I'll consume, though it is the most nutritional to me... except for Elven blood; that stuff is awesome."

"And you don't try and pull a stake on me and I'll stay civil. Of course, a stake won't work at all on me, so bleh!" Sticks his tongue out childishly... which worked considering he was physically 10.

"Umm...Please don't do that to us," said Maya with wide eyes once Ashley mentions the ability to control the iron in her blood.

"We will be getting there using this," said Maya as she pulled out what looks like a small remote that was hanging around her neck under her blouse. "It is to let us get there faster that Francesca made for me. Please hold on to my arm."

Ashley stares at the remote for a moment before shrugging and grabbing hold of her arm.

"Hooray for mutual tolerance..." He mumbles, then looks to Maya.

"Oookay..." He puts a gauntleted hand on her arm lightly!
