Nah, that was what happened in the past when I was sealed in a crystal. Now its just this painting itself that will try to stop us. Primarily by making it hard to find its core.

Not so much a back door as I find the core or heart if you prefer of this and break it. I can tell you two how to do this as well if you wish in case something happens.

Dori's answer is more probable than others but you never know. I have a great deal of enemies who might find it easy to simply send a sacrificial minion in here to keep me from ever escaping or something as well is another option.

That has its possibilities but isn't overly likely. While it is one of the final scenarios when trapping someone this way its more in their interest if I remain bound rather than killed. They burn this thing and they might as well have set me free which is something most of my opposition is aware of.
