Helping Flurry Adjust

[Blaze]

Nova nods rapidly, ignoring the tree.

"You're getting better!" ^^

[Blindsense]

"Y-yeah! I think I am!" Flurry grins happily, resisting the urge to jump for joy. She sends a shower of snowflakes to cover the immediate area, painting a rather adorable winter scene - which was rather peculiar considering the fact that it was, in fact, Summer. "So what should we do next?!"

[Blaze]

Nova thinks for a moment before nodding.

"Okay... now we stop using beams, and just shoot balls. Like this."

She shoots a fireball at a nearby tree. Whoops, there goes another one/

[Blindsense]

"Er... Okay."

Flurry flings... what amounts to handful of ice cubes that clatter against a tree. With a grunt, she tries again, this time managing a rather impressive... Snowball.

"...What exactly am I supposed to be throwing here?"

[Blaze]

Nova blinks.

"Hmm... yes, ice powers don't handle it so well..."

She think for a moment and nods.

"Try shooting sharp shards of ice."

[Blindsense]

"That makes more sense..." Flurry grins, sending a flurry of ice shards into the trunk of yet another unfortunate tree. "...You think the park groundskeeper's gonna hate us forever...?"

[Blaze]

Nova giggles.

"THis land isn't owned. We can cause as much damage as we like. Keep trying!"

[Blindsense]

"Alright..." Flurry focuses this time - and Nova might notice a sort of multicolored glow begin to drift about the foxgirl, not unlike the Aurora Borealis. With another flourish, Flurry sends a MASSIVE ice shard barreling through several tree trunks, splintering a good dozen or so trees.


"...Whoops."

[Blaze]

Nova's jaw drops at the sight of the massive ice chunk.

"That... was... INCREDIBLE!"

[Blindsense]

"...Really?" Flurry still looks kinda surprised that she had even managed to pul that off. "...It's okay that I just leveled part of the clearing?"

[Blaze]

Nova nods and shoots a blast of flame at the ice chunk, melting it.

"That was really cool! Can you do it again?"

[Blindsense]

"I can try..."

Flurry closes her eyes this time - but it's several moments before the aura appears again. However, when the foxgirl DOES move, the result is equally spectacular - another massive ice crystal clobbering a line of foliage.

"Yeah! I can!"

[Blaze]

Nova nods, a big smile on her face.

"So, how do you feel before you do that?"

[Blindsense]

"To be honest? I just feel... Kinda calm. Like everything is just slowing down... It allows me to focus really hard and make it so that I have time to think about forming the ice." She shrugs. "Like... Watch." She closes her eyes again... This time a larger aura forms around her - and a MASSIVE claymore made out of ice slams into the earth in front of her, spawning ice-cold chasms throughout the ground that resemble splitting glacial ice.

[Blaze]

Nova eeps and leaps back as the ice sword slams into the ground

"That's amazing..."
