Merah simply dumps out the salt shaker out on the table -- getting all the salt into a pile. She smooths it out with a single pass of her hand, then with a lone finger starts to trace out in it. The girl begins, "...okay. Here we are in the Muffinverse, alright?" She makes a clear spot in the salt, "...it's a world. A dimension. A plane within our local cluster, alright?" She then starts to add more clear spots around the salt, "...and all these other clearings are different worlds, okay?" She takes some of her ice cream puts it in one of the further out clearings, "...the thing is that all the other planes, but our own, has some sort of... theme... concept... principle that rules it. Even if it isn't a shard... it's entirely dominated by one 'force'."
Peeking over at Elliot, "...following?" She doesn't wait for a response, "..one might be the 'Red' world. Or the 'Fairy' world. Or..." Adding quickly, "...our world. The Muffinverse. Is different... we don't have an over reaching theme." She picks her head up, and grins at Elliot "...and that's the capstone of my research. I think our world is just like the others. But it doesn't have one. So the others can leak over. ...that... and the fabric of our world is sensitive to the willpower and mind of intelligence around it... subjective reali-!" And with that Alan manages to crash down! Merah reflexively gives the table a bump -- distorting the salt... and turns to face the boy "...hello?"
