Azathoth: Break Into Black Isles

[Blaze]

The guard rolls his eyes and nods.

"Hey, if it means a fatter paycheck for me at the end, I'm game. What's the plan?"

[Azathoth]

"It likely will at that. Anyway... well that depends. Do you know where this Dr. Point is? If not... out plan is to find the central databanks and find out..."

[Blaze]

"Knowing him, he's still in the main lab, working on this weapon. He hasn't came out since he established that he was in charge now. Real mad scientist that guy." the guard says.

"But he's put in a lot of added security around that area. I think he's paranoid that you'll come after him. Guess he was right."

[Azathoth]

Azer grins at that. "Damn straight. Unfortunately for him I was even more paranoid. I could hit the self destruct... or the backup self destruct... or the secret backup backup self destruct... hrrmmm." She rubs her chin. "Ah. Better. I'll trigger all three, but ghost them so they don't actually activate... just the alarms. We flush him out... and then take him down. What do you think?"

[Blaze]

"Well, you're the boss. Former boss. Soon to be boss... do you have a new name or something?" the guard asks, scratching his head.

[Azathoth]

Azermaid grins a little. "Just call me Azer... for now at least." She says... moving out and heading for the nearest security terminal. If Dr. Point was as paranoid as he said, her old codes wouldn't work. Good thing she knew exactly how to hack her own system.

[Blaze]

"Azer then. I'm Damien by the way." the guard says

Azer's prediction is correct, her codes don't work!

[Azathoth]

"Mmm... nice to meet you, Damien." She says... going to hack the system to set off the false alarms...

[Blaze]

She succeeds! Sirens blare throughout the facility as an automated voice advises everyone to make their way to the nearest emergency exit*.

[Azathoth]

Azer nods! "Alright... lets go!" She says... heading off quickly towards the lab areas!

[Blaze]

Damien lumbers after her as they pass many scientists and guards on their way out! So frantic about escaping whatever set off the alarms that they don't give the maid a second glance. They reach the doors outside the center lab easily, and they're wide open!

[Azathoth]

Azer hrrrms... she could go after the Doctor... but going ahead in ignorance was never a good idea. Instead she heads inside the lab... wondering if she can find clues as to what he is up to...

[Blaze]

*Slipping inside, Azer can see... the doctor is still inside! He seems to be putting the final calibrations into what looks like an enormous laser that is pointing at the ground, which has what looks like a dimensional portal built into it.*

"Doctor! We have to go!" an assistant pleads with the bald, hook-nosed man.
"No! I KNOW this is some trick by Azer! I have to do this now!" Dr. Point replies.

[Azathoth]

Azermaid blinks... well thats her cue, isnt it? "Take him alive..." Is all she says before dashing towards him... unsheathing her blades as she gets ready to knock him out.

[Blaze]

Before the doctor, the assistant and even Damian can react even! Her blades streak towards Doctor Point... only to be repelled by some incredible force! The doctor turns around, his eyes bugging out and a victorious grin on his face.

"Ha! You see?! Here his one of his agents!" he shrieks, spittle flying out.
