She nods her head, "Sure will.. just hope these kids don't take up -too- much of my time.. ".

*finishes one omelette and works on the other* From what I understand, their mom had to take care of some stuff elsewhere. I doubt she'll be very long.

Ahh, that's good to hear! They seem nice enough, but.. I have far better uses of my time than this!

*chuckles* If anything, be glad you weren't here earlier in the year. Eebon used to be quite the hellion.

When you interviewed for the job, I'm guessing Calli neglected to mention when the paychecks are handed out, right?

uh... she might have, I can't remember... it was a pretty good wage considering it's not really a proper job...

*finishing the second omelette* In which case I'll tell you. The paychecks are given out weekly, usually on Fridays but sometimes earlier depending on her moods. Taxes and the like are already deducted.

And it's true that it's not a proper job, by the standard definition. *puts the respective dishes onto a tray* It's just that outside of their abilities instructor, there are very few people that Calli---and, more importantly, their mom---trust to keep them in line when she's gone.

Abilities instructor? What's that? *she asks, picking up the two plates*

Superpowers and the like. *picks up the orange juice and cat food*

Those two... have super powers? Yeah right. I might look thirteen, but don't go thinking I'm some dumb little kid.

So, let me get this straight. You don't believe that there are people with superpowers, and yet the fact that you're talking to a humanoid fox doesn't bother you at all? *starts to carry the remaining items out of the kitchen*

She turns, carrying out the two plates with her, "Well, a fox girl is one thing, I've seen what stuff can do to people... but super heroes? That's something else entirely!".

*Aldonza all but prances over to the table, putting the catfood and orange juice in their respective spots.*

*shrugs* I can't really prove it without making it sound like boasting, so...we'll just leave it be for now.

*Echo looks up and takes a few bites of cat food, still partially absorbed in the English exercise.*

Megan sets one omelette infront of Eebon, and then sets down, placing the other plate infront of herself and picking up the knife and fork. "Okay, you kids can stop that while we eat... ".
