Callista: Doesn't sound like a bad idea... *sniffs, then coughs* And maybe some Kleenex may be good, too.

[Circe]

Of course. I'll be back in just a moment. *The maid leaves the room, then comes back a minute or two later with a box of tissues.*

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Thanks. *takes the tissue, grabs a few, and blows rather noisily into it before lobbing it at the nearest wastebasket* If this cold's any indication, I may be here a while... *coughs* Would you mind telling the others that I don't think I can go anywhere right now?

[Circe]

Of course I will. But before that, do you need anything else?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Just... some water, please.

*Callista pulls her head beneath the covers for a few moments; some rustling can be heard before she emerges again. It may not be obvious, but the cyborg costume she had has now been put away.*

[Circe]

*The maid nods, then leaves the room again. She pops back in a minute later to hand Callista a glass of water, then heads down to the gym.*

[AmbushCat]

*Callista takes the water and drinks some of it down before setting it and the Kleenex aside. Grimacing, she shuts her eyes and tries her hardest to fall asleep again.*

*Amber and Aldonza both look up when the maid arrives. The former's the first to speak.*

Something up?

[Circe]

*The maid bows before speaking.* Miss Callista seems to have developed a cold. I'm afraid she won't be fit to travel for some time.

[AmbushCat]

*curses quietly; pauses before replying* Alright. Thanks for telling us. Would you mind looking after her until she recovers?

[Circe]

We would be happy to. *The maid bows again, before heading back down to Callista's room.*

So... Think she was sick when you got here?

[AmbushCat]

*thinks for a minute* ...I doubt it. This happened the last time she released the limiters on her weapon, but I thought at the time it was just coincidence.

*Callista is curled up beneath the blankets, shivering a little, by the time the maid gets back.*

[Circe]

How bad did it get last time?

I'm back, Miss Callista. *Notcing Callista's shivering, the maid walks over to the closet and pulls out another blanket.*

*thinks back* Last time... I think she had it going too long and ended up out of action for several days as a result. I can't remember if she felt sick afterwards or not.

That mission to find Rei's grandson?

Yeah. That one.

*Callista murmurs something inaudible and feebly pulls the blankets around her.*

Either way, it sounds you've a got pretty serious design flaw there.

Maybe...

Personally, I don't think it's really a design flaw in the weapon so much as the fact that Callista's body isn't meant to handle that much power. That's just me, though.[/color]
