The Mungojerrie: Rolling On (Part 2)

"Maybe just a little more to drink, and that should do it."

[Stray-chan]

"Right away, nya!" Lost hurries into the kitchen and comes back out with another Mountain Dew. "If you need anything else, feel free to ask. Enjoy your meal, nya." She curtsies then goes back into the kitchen and out, on her way to Circe's manor.

Mark nods and begins to eat his meal.

[AmbushCat]

Mark, satisfied for the moment, looks around to see who all else is there, while continuing to wait on his food.

*In one corner of the establishment, Ambush Cat's kids can be seen chowing down on an omlette (Eebon) and cat food (Echo), an open English textbook in front of them. Constant noises of dissatisfaction can be heard as an older NPC repeatedly tries to get past a certain screen on I Wanna Be The Guy; a teenage girl is trying (and failing) to beat the high score that Ookalf's associate set on Galaga. The overly-tall Goldie is leaning against a far wall, looking half-asleep. The three Pokemon (Umbreon, Gengar, and Mismagius) flit around, either surveying the area or helping out customers.*

"Right away, nya!" Lost hurries into the kitchen and comes back out with another Mountain Dew. "If you need anything else, feel free to ask. Enjoy your meal, nya." She curtsies then goes back into the kitchen and out, on her way to Circe's manor.

Mark nods and begins to eat his meal.

*Psycho Kitten enters the restaurant and arrows for the kitchen, aiming to help out in Lost's absence.*

Mark continues to eat his meal, and, eventually he finishes it without any complaints. "Ah...that was good."

[AmbushCat]

Mismagius: *nods* It usually is. Glad you liked it. Need anything else?

*Goldie looks up from her post, still looking half-asleep*

I don't get out of the restaurant much... Mark, was it? How are things in this end of the multiverse?

[Marky]

"Eh...well, right now, I'm kinda in a bit of a spot..."

[AmbushCat]

Really? How so, if I may ask?

[Marky]

"Well, you know that bit with the Muffin Gun and such that went on with Julia, Nathan and Carl?"

[AmbushCat]

*nods* I know a little about it. What of it?

[Marky]

"Well, one of the other clones got hit by a permanent violet blast, on the strongest setting..."

[AmbushCat]

*sweatdrops a little* In other words, we're talking Caprice-level ditziness? I guess 'bad' is an understatement.

[Marky]

"Heh, yeah...you have a good point there. It was that bad in the beginning, but, hmm, I'm not sure about now. The details aren't clear on everything so far. Just be glad, though, that I decided to come in here when I did..."

[AmbushCat]

*nods at the implications* I see your point. That's what the place is for.

[Marky]

*nod* And I have a feeling, like last time, I'll be sticking around until it's over with.
