"Thanks. And it probably will. I think I heard it's going to be at least three weeks before they can work on it, thanks to the mastermind behind all this getting blasted three times, one with blue and green, then with green again, and finally, violet...so, yeah..."

...Three weeks? How do you figure?

[Marky]

"Well, each of the blasts Nathan got hit with were one week duration, each. After getting hit once, things just stacked up. So, now Nathan is stuck like that for 3 weeks, and me, well, at least that amount of time..."

*eyes fully open* I see. ... *sighs* I know I sound like I'm on a bender by saying this, but... "The colors, man...the colors..." I've seen a lot over the eons, and that still ranks pretty high on the Holy... *eyes a nearby child NPC* Crud Meter.

[Marky]

"Yeah, it sure does...just my luck, I guess. Two of these in the course of under 7 months...heh."

Two of them? Something tells me I don't want to know about the first one.

"Well, let's just say, if you've ever heard of Xia, then you might have at least some idea of what happened..."

*thinks, then nods* Xia, huh? That name pretty much explains it all. Understandable, I believe.

[Marky]

"Yeah, I was her..." Mark shudders a bit, thinking back. "...maid for a few weeks."

[AmbushCat]

*grimaces* People in these parts seem to have this thing for maids. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

...Although it does make some pretty good subject material to keep my eye out for. *jots down a few notes*

Mark nods. "True. Although...this time, I'd almost rather be stuck as a maid, again, than a ditz half the time..."

Doesn't sound like a tough choice to make. Turning into a ditz sounds like cruel and unusual punishment, except without the punishment.

"Heh, yeah, you do have a point there."

*nods in appreciation* I prefer much more mundane forms of punishment. *thinks* Well, mundane from a certain point of view, anyway.
