Ah this world eh? *Shrugs.* That is an easy one though dreadfully costly. Why I think I would have to actually tap into my personal magic stores rather than the saved up pilfered bits I normally rely on.

The bartender just nods and mixes up another drink for Raleigh.

"Here, on the house."

"Ah, thanks" says Raoul, grinning sheepishly as he steps into the elevator.

The elevator heads down, opening to a large white room! Raoul may spot the back of Dact as he walks through a door that closes behind him!

"Umm....Okay.....I forgot that," said Maya as she saw the giggling nurse and nodded.

"Then I can't wait to have blood again?" said Maya after a nervous giggle.

"Thatagirl! Now just lie down." the nurse says, indicating the table again.

Having no other immediate direction to go in... Dact heads for the opened door!

THe door closes behind him as he steps in... when all of a sudden, cables and wires shoot out from the walls and roof, trying to tie Dact up!

"Oh...Okay," said Maya as she nods slowly and eventually lays down on the table. She then gave the robot nurse a nervous smile.

[Feng]

"Wow, this place reminds me of that one scene from the Matrix, only more spacious and less Laurence Fishburne.... MACHINES!"

After laughing sheepishly for a moment or two, the young man glances around trying to figure out where he is supposed to go.

I'll admit one of the difficulties in this world is the lack of a central government of any sort. Even the council here doesn't do much ruling so I doubt they could decide collectively to submit assuming they could get the citizenry to follow.

"Oh...Okay," said Maya as she nods slowly and eventually lays down on the table. She then gave the robot nurse a nervous smile.

THe nurse smiles as she presses a few buttons on the machines surrounding the table.

"Don't worry, we'll be putting you to sleep for this."

Maya may find her vision going dark!

The last thing Maya sees before drifting into unconsciousness is the nurse inserting a cord into a port on the side of her head...

The cables are slashed! Only to be replaced by new ones as they attempt to tie Dact up and pull him into the air!

As soon as he steps through into the room that looks much like the last one, the door closes behind him and wires and cables emerge from holes in the walls, trying to ensnare Raoul!

Dact slashes... and slashes... and slashes! But eventually he slips up, as the cables haul him into the air! "Ack!" He goes to cut them!

"What? Where am I? Did it work?" bolted up Maya as she looked around and was confused. She quickly patted herself and looked to see if she was in the same outfit as before.

Raoul is captured by cables! Oh noes!

"I say! What matter of Automata is this?!" says the college student as he puts up a pathetic attempt at escape. "Unhand me! I'm a Grandmaster of Sudoku you tentacle fiends!"

A wise choice on the boss's part. For all their failings humans are very interesting creatures when trained properly. As they say the younger the better too when it comes to that. A shame their life spans are so limited but that is easily remedied.
