Light Shines Brightest in the Deepest Darkness

"Oooookay, this is just getting weird..." Kazuya muttered. He quickly now ran around the town to find someone who might be able to explain his problem.

[Keyblade Wielder]

The woman swiftly stashes the gun and reforms the Keyblade in her hands just in time to block some of the attacks and perform a counter slash. "I don't think you heard me right," she says, "THEY hurt people, and I'm here to stop them." She doesn't waste the time just talking, though; she pulls back to a spot where there are a few less enemies and lets go of the keyblade long enough to produce some kind of cartoonish magical hand radio. "Flamehead, it's a little heavy down here. We could use some support," she says in a perfectly direct, military manner. The guy on the other side says "Comin' up," but she doesn't wait for the response and just immediately stows the radio, drawing the blade again. The orb flashes a new color, an icy blue, and the Keyblade reforms in a bit of ice and snow to the form of the Decisive Pumpkin. It emanates a cold aura; she holds it up in defense against attacks that are probably quite close to hitting her at this point.

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Jean." Light greeted. "Good to see you. What's going on here?'

[Raleigh]

*Watches as the few smart enough to try and warp get away.* So what are you seeking? Is there one of those giant key hole gates here or are you more shadow than heartless?

[KonokoHasano]

As soon as he grabs it...

He's back in Muffinville! The girls who attacked him leap back, eyeing him warily.

"Wh-- The hell?" He asked, looking around. The day was getting a bit... weird, even for him. Looking back at the girls, he glared back in annoyance. "How about you idiots get away from me?"


Meanwhile, Konoko sat cross-legged on the wall surrounding the the Hasano mansion, watching the creatures run around and doing things. "... so we're being invaded by Kingdom Hearts stuff?" She muttered.

[Blaze]

"Gimmie your money!" he snarls!

The Shadows procede to circle the Keyblade Weilder, only attacking her in the back, where her guard is down! Whatever has changed their appearance seems to have made them smarter...

"Jean." Light greeted. "Good to see you. What's going on here?'

"I haven't the faintest clue! These things started popping up and attacking people!" Jean says worridly.

"They seem to be ripping out people's souls or something along those lines. This cannot go unpunished!"

The Heartless don't reply! Seems they can't talk yet.

*Floats over and lands in front of one of the captured heartless/shadow peoples.* Can't talk eh? Well no worries. I can always just read your minds. *He taps it on the forehead and unleashes a rather rough and likely mind liquefying mental probe.*

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"No it cannot." Light agreed. "Do these fiends seem to be some kind of dark element? If so, I may switch to some form that can project holy energy."

[KonokoHasano]

Yuu may notice there is now something in his hand... a giant key!

As for Konoko, she may notice a few of the Shadows creeping through her front lawn! Damn kids!

"Ah... Keyblade? What, is this supposed to be some kind of game or something?!" He let out, lashing at the strange girls.


Noticing this, Konoko teleported on over to the Shadows and appeared in front of them, kneeling down a little and staring them right in the eyes. "You know... trying to get into my place will only get you killed."

She takes a moment to stare before reaching out and petting one on the head. "You guys are kinda cute, you know?"

As Utsuko questions the Keyblade weilder, several of the shadowy girls leap up and claw at her!

Utsuko frowns at the woman... and then yelps, as some of the shadowy girls start leaping up to claw at her! Reflexively, she sends a flurry of white-hot balls of fire at them, flapping her wings to send herself rocketing up higher into the air, until she feels safely out of range!

"Hmph... attacking me while I'm working!" She frowns down at the keyblade wielder on the ground, now well out of range of a proper interview. "She was calling for some back-up... someone named Flamehead? Hmm. A less dedicated news reporter might think she was actually part of some secretive organization, known only by a number!"

The hell-raven pauses a moment... and then starts jotting notes. "I wonder what number it could be? The Shadowy Seven, maybe!"

As Pleasence walks down the corridor, an unnatural chill fills the air...

Before the Crisis Center is filled with the shadows, coming out of nowhere! They are accompanied by a new kind that seems to be more aggressive as it lunges for Pleasence the moment it appears!

The trio pauses as the unnatural chill fills the air... before an alarm klaxon sounds through the complex!

"Intruder alert. Intruder alert. Intruder alert."

Even as the first of the new figures appears through the wall, lunging for Commander Pleasance, Lily has already interposed herself in its path, her gun blazing as she fires point blank into the creature, her other hand lashing out with an arc of high voltage electricity, sending it sizzling into another mass of the shadowy forms.

Pleasance assesses the tactical situation quickly, drawing her own weapon. "We've got to get to the Command Centre! The CRAVEN field should keep them out!" she shouts. Alex draws his weapon, and starts shooting at the creatures appearing behidn them. "They're coming out of the walls!"

"I'll clear us a path!" Lily shouts, continuing to fire her weapon at any forms that get close to either her or the Commander. Focusing down the corridor for a moment, she teleports an iron slug out of a pocket in her BDUs, and electromagnetically accelerates it, firing it down the length of the corridor with the power of an anti-tank round, the sonic boom flattening anything along its path!

THe poor Heartless shrieks as the probe only digs up instinctive thoughts along the lines of finding hearts and whatnot.

"No it cannot." Light agreed. "Do these fiends seem to be some kind of dark element? If so, I may switch to some form that can project holy energy."

"I do believe that is the case. They seemed vulnerable to my holy attacks." Jean says.

"Ah... Keyblade? What, is this supposed to be some kind of game or something?!" He let out, lashing at the strange girls.

THe bullets don't seem to do much other then slowing them, but the electricity does, causing the thinsg to go into convulsions, their mouth open in a silent scream! THe sonic boom knocks several off their feet and the few it goes through are dispelled in a puff of dark smoke!

However, more simply keep coming, preventing much progress...

"They're vulnerable to energy attacks!" the commander shouts. Lily nods, and while Pleasance and Alex switch over to laser weapons, the SIBLING discards her sidearm, instead clapping her hands together, before spreading them apart again... the hallway now illuminated by flickering arcs of electricity. "Let's see how they like this!" she shouts, sending a massive shockwave of electricity ripping down the length of the corridor, towards the hatchway at the end.

Commander Pleasance and Alex, meanwhile, start firing their lasers at the approaching shadows, trying to give Lily some cover while she attacks!

[Keyblade Wielder]

The woman takes a hit or two, and takes them like a pro, barely flinching. Then she performs the fabled Spin Attack! Wait, that isn't a keyblade move? Well she sure is using it. She does about a 270-degree spin, ending up facing the direction that used to be backwards, and bashes more heartless in front of her. The keyblade has a small chance at least of freezing its victims in temporary chunks of ice when it hits. Meanwhile, three more light-shots like the one she came in come down, and their occupants are soon revealed to be Dusks, the Nobody mooks! They start sliding around, dodging and attacking the Shadow girls to the best of their ability. They're fast but they aren't terribly strong, and against such numbers they probably won't last too long...

The girls back away from Yuu's swings, seemingly afraid of the weapon.

"Yeah, you'll leave me alone now, won't you?" Yuu asked, smirking. "Just back off and I won't kill you things, okay?" He continued pointing it at them as he walked towards them.

Konoko holds out her hand to the sneaking Heartless, which turns into shadow and darkness itself and lashes out at them, absorbing them into it, all the while as she gives the lone Heartless a smile. "As I said, I wouldn't recommend any of you trying to infiltrate my home. Trying to do so will only get you all consumed. Now, are you going to be a good little creature and behave around here, or am I going to have to do something?"
