Looking for Sir Dact!

[The Man in White]

Dact finds himself shocked by a tazer built into the man's cane.

"You're ruining the suspense. Knock it off" his host complains before turning to the unveiling entity. -_-

"ANYWAYS," he continues, "Do not let your opponents frail appearance deceive you. He has been bred for combat and bloodshed and has been programmed with practically all of your moves. My minions have been particularly meticulous in their research. Behold, the fruits of their labors!"

The man in the cylinder collapses to the floor. With a loud cough, he suddenly begins to breath in heavily.


"Oops," mutters the Asian maid, placing a napkin before Eebon. "Here you go Miss"

[Knight Errant]

Dact would, of course, not be shocked. As his lightning rune gives him complete control over electricity! He makes an effort to look appropriately chastised, though.

"Err... sorry. Anyway, he still looks like he could use a drink." He heads over to the man. "You alright, there?"

[The Man in White]

The figure is silent, breathing like a newborn child who has escaped the womb. And then....

LUUUNGE!!

With the speed of a caffeinated cheetah, and the strength of three men, the mysterious figure grabs Dact by the throat, practically lifting him off the ground.

"...."

I wouldn't underestimate him, if I were you Sir Dactylos. You've already made the mistake of lowering your guard in the presence of a wanted Criminal Mastermind. How much dangerous is it to do so when confronted by your own shadow?

The man mutters a strange command in a curious dialect. Suddenly, the entity's skin tight suit begins to morph, taking on the form of armor...

[Knight Errant]

Dact would reply, but is too busy being choked. He settles for putting his right hand on the arm of the man, it crackling brightly as a massive amount of electricity surges forth into the figure!

[The Man in White]

With a devious grin the figure, who is somehow resisting the flow of electricity, holds up a strange rune embedded in his free arm's gauntlet. The gauntlet suddenly ignites in black flame.

"Enough," interrupts the man in white. "Save your blood lust for later."

Reluctantly, the entity loosens his grip...

[Knight Errant]

Dact pulls away, rubbing his neck a bit. "You know acting like that is not likely to get you many friends, chap."

[Anti-Dact?]

"Silly Knight" says the entity with a voice similar to Dact's but slightly deeper. "Friends are merely obstacles for those who seek power. I seek to gather only pawns, and pawns can be obtained by strength!"

[Knight Errant]

Dact taps the man on his helm. "Old way of thinking, chap. Pawns can also be gathered by persuasion, misdirection, manipulation, and subterfuge. Also if you gather power for its own sake, thats rather boring as a motivating factor."

He pauses. "I've taken down many evildoers in my day... you don't meet as many of them as I have without learning a bit about the other side, as it were."

[AmbushCat]

"Oops," mutters the Asian maid, placing a napkin before Eebon. "Here you go Miss"

Eebon: Thanks. Gaw. *takes the napkin and wipes off her mouth* It isn't a meal without a napkin. *works through the salmon*

[The Man in White]

"Is that so?" says the entity giving Dact a shifty, shifty look.


Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, the maids watches as Eebon devours the salmon. Suddenly the pink haired maid pipes up.

"Oh dear..."

"What's wrong sister?" inquires her partner.

"I'm afraid I might have accidentally used the tainted fish from the Master's experiments. He really needs to stop hiding his things in the fridge..." -_-()

[Knight Errant]

Dact nods. "Mhmm... power is a means not an end. A means to control, destroy, create... a tool to let you shape the world as you see it. Of course others with power do the same thing... hence why the world is such a bloody mess. Everyone trying to shape it their way ends with the whole thing looking like some kind of mistake of modern art applied to sculpting."

He pauses. "Nice to meet you, by the way. Aside from the whole grappling with my neck part. Do you have a name for yourself?"

[AmbushCat]

Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, the maids watches as Eebon devours the salmon. Suddenly the pink haired maid pipes up.

"Oh dear..."

"What's wrong sister?" inquires her partner.

"I'm afraid I might have accidentally used the tainted fish from the Master's experiments. He really needs to stop hiding his things in the fridge..." -_-()

Eebon: *snorts in a child-like way* That sounds like a real winner. Gaw. *looks at the rest of the meal* It seems fine to me, so... *shrugs and continues eating*

[The Man in White]

As Eebon continues to eat, she may feel a tingly sensation coming from her gut! The sensation spreads through her body giving her a pins and needles sensation.


"There are some who call me.... T-"

The entity is suddenly interrupted by the Man in White's attempt to smite Sir Dactylos with a really dense toaster!

"Curses," he shouts. "You're laid back attitude is throwing my plans into chaos! I should have just injected you with the C-Cells and let you rot on some forsaken street. Why I ever saw potential in you I do not know!"

The doors suddenly open as another figure emerges. And then...

[Feng]

*BANG*

The mysterious man in white staggers back a bit, one step then two, before collapsing on the floor. A curious green spore begins to spread from the spot between his eyes.

"Not again," grumbles Bones, criminal mastermind. "I do hate it when the clones are released prematurely. Such a waste of good resources." o_-

He turns to Dact pointing his weapon directly at the knight's forehead.

"Let me guess, the guy knocked you out and dragged you here yes?" o_-

He then turns to the clone.

"Great. And it appears he made copies of you. Isn't that just special!" o.<

((For the record, the Man in White is complaining only for the sake of character. I have no complaints about the direction of the thread.))
