"One moment...", Elliot held up a finger, and reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone. Clearing his throat, he lifted it to his ear and pressed answer, while strolling over to the window.
Elliot's brow creased slightly at the tone, but he glanced down, lifting his arm slightly to check his wrist watch. "That's do-able. Is this... important?", he asked. "Because I'm in the middle of something that is... ".
"Then I'll see you at eight", he said before hanging up the call. Remaining by the window, he turned to regard Madison and Brom. "Look, I don't have much time. I'm your boss now, Madison, wether you like it or not. If you're not going to listen I WILL terminate your contract. I'm replacing you as the head of this station, understand? If you're a good girl, I'll keep you on as an advisor".
"Brom... how far is the Purloined Spoon? We have a meeting at 8. I don't want to be late... ", he said, seeming distracted as he walked back to the desk, sliding the phone into his pocket.
"You didn't do a very good job in that case", he muttered, looking rather confused as he glanced over at Brom, lifting one hand to scratch at the back of his head. "That means we still have some time before we need to leave. Madison, do you have any chat shows? I need exposure... and I need to look good".
"Why not? I own this station, don't I? I think you'll find I can do anything I like. Make it happen, Madison", he said with a grin. "I suppose I'll need to visit make-up first? To make sure I look perfect on camera... ".
"Brom... you won't be needed on screen. If anyone calls, let them know I'm not to be disturbed", he said, gently patting the girl's shoulder as he stepped out of Madison's office and followed her directions, ending up on the third floor, and walked to the end of the hallway, before stepping through the door without knocking.
