The rest of the men are easily defeated being normal humans and all. They weren't at all ready for all these forces.

The poor guy that was left by the SUV's does the only smart thing of all of them and climbs into the front car and takes off quickly.

The soldiers start gathering up the unconscious men, pulling them a short ways away from the house, and stand guard. "Most of the intruders have been detained. One escaping by vehicle, the other is on the target property. Will detain and await orders," one of them reports into her radio.

Meanwhile, as the SUV peels off, the armored IFV that had accompanied the soldiers rumbles to life, pulling out onto the road in an effort to block the vehicle's escape, although a skilled driver could probably slip by.

On the other hand, the vehicle's turret is swinging about, bringing its 30mm cannon to bear. "Stop your vehicle at once!" the IFV's commander orders over the loudspeakers.

The leader, who was running towards the manor, reaches into his pocket to pull out an old looking pocket watch. He presses it and suddenly time around him, within a quarter mile radios freeze to a halt. He jumps up to the ground and keeps on running towards the manor.

The driver of the SUV stop dead in his tracks. He does the smart thing and doesn't move again at all.

The leader, who was running towards the manor, reaches into his pocket to pull out an old looking pocket watch. He presses it and suddenly time around him, within a quarter mile radios freeze to a halt. He jumps up to the ground and keeps on running towards the manor.

*notices the time distortion taking effect; grins* Going somewhere, are we?

*Triggering his long-absorbed Chronal Bracer, Ambush Cat activates a distortion of his own. What happens next is a bit hazy, but the man should now be noticing a certain stocky Black Maine Coon blocking his path.*

The man looks at the Coon blocking his path. He reaches into his pocket and whips out a metal half staff. He holds up the staff as a small electric spark comes from it.

The man looks at the Coon blocking his path. He reaches into his pocket and whips out a metal half staff. He holds up the staff as a small electric spark comes from it.

*grimaces* Electricity... figures. *spits a few fireballs at the man, Super Mario-style*

The man bashes right through the fire balls with the electric pole. He punches right through one of them.

*Growling, Ambush Cat jumps back a few feet towards the door and exhales a steady stream of fire. Noticeably, it's much hotter than the norm.*

He shakes his fist realizing just how hot the flames are. Seeing her blowing a wave of flames from her mouth he takes off running to his right to avoid the fire.

The driver of the SUV stop dead in his tracks. He does the smart thing and doesn't move again at all.

A pair of the soldiers guarding the prisoners moves over to detain the driver of the SUV, and anyone else still in the vehicle. Meanwhile, the rest start moving to unconscious men over to where the semi-truck is, and away from the gates to Circe's manor.

A woman in a uniform steps down from the truck, examining the men as they're brought over. "As soon as one of them wakes up, notify me. We might as well see if we can learn anything from them," she tells the soldiers.

*Ambush Cat doesn't maintain the fire breath for long. After extinguishing it he paws at the ground and growls, daring the man to come closer.*

The man keeps moving to his right trying to get closer to the manor as he does, keeping his distance from Ambush.He figuring that he is trying to trick him.

The driver of the SUV doesn't resits as he is taken away from the vehicle. He claiming to know nothing and is just following orders.

Well, since the driver of the SUV isn't unconscious... he ends up shoved into the rear of the semi-truck, where the woman is seated at a desk, with two guards. She smiles thinly at the driver.

"Have a seat," she offers, pointing at the chair in front of her desk. "I have a few questions for you. Would you like something to drink, first? Coffee? Tea?"

*Ambush Cat growls and continues glaring at the man, his tail lashing. He takes a few backwards steps, almost to the door by now.*
