Circe's Manor

The man is shoved into the back of the truck. He sitting down and shaking his head to her question.

The man keeps moving around Ambush. Heading towards one of the windows, raising the electric rod to the window and goes to break it.

The woman behind the desk nods. "Very well..." She waits, and a soldier brings her a steaming mug of tea. "Now... perhaps you can tell us who is behind this operation of yours? I assume that it's your leader that's still on the manor grounds, but who is he, and where did he come from?"

Crud! *quickly spits a low-powered ray at the man in an attempt to keep him from getting inside*

This... is looking as if things are a little hectic *Konoko thought as she poked her head out of a tree, watching the scene before her*

The one on the grounds still, uses the rod to cancel out the ray. Turning he smashes his fist right through the window.

*A. C., growling to himself, chases after the man and tries to catch him before he can jump inside*

The woman quirks an eyebrow, and considers a moment. "Well, that changes things slightly. In that case... is there anything you can tell us? For example... how would 'they' kill all of you? We can probably provide sufficient physical security, and even have methods to protect you from a magical or paranatural assault. On the other hand..."

Her eyes narrow. "Are 'they' monitoring you right now?" she asks quietly.

The man, in the van, looks down shaking his head. "I cannot even say because it would mean certain death for us all." He reach up and rubs the back of his neck nervously.

The other man smirks at Ambush Cat. He disappears into the window and starts heading down the hall, he pulls out a small device and checks looks at the screen. "No escape this time." He continues down the hall quickly.

Meanwhile the boy awakens and wanders out of his room in a half asleep daze. He looking for someone nearby or Circe.

*The boy finds the maid who carried him into the room standing against the wall.* Oh, good. You're awake.

*Circe appears in the hallway in front of him.* I don't think so.

The woman hmmms, tapping her pen upon the desk. "Well... I suppose this will make obtaining any information difficult." She glances to the side, in the direction of Circe's manor. "I am assuming the man who entered the manor's grounds was your 'leader', as it were... but he seems to have abandoned you." She focuses on the man seated before her again. "Given the situation, will there be any difficulty if we sedate you, and have you and your companions deposited a safe distance away from the manor, to return wherever you came from? I'm assuming you were not expected to wait until your leader completed his mission, given that he's shown no interest in your own welfare."

A tall and skinny young man that goes by the name of Mike looked at the door of a manor. He shrugged and said, "Better see what is inside."

He gave the door a good knock and said, "Hello?"

*Circe appears in the hallway in front of him.* I don't think so.

Behind the man, Mark suddenly appears, as well. However, he stays silent for the moment.

"That, wouldn't be a problem." The one in the truck says. He seems a bit thrown off by the lack of torture, that this women is being so nice to him. He frowns seeming to want to tell her now but knowing that he cannot.

The man looks behind him as he sees Circe in the hall blocking his path. "You had your chance to talk things over with us. Now move." He smirks seeing Mark behind him.

The boy looks up at the maid blushing, hanging his head frowning. "They... they are .... here. Must run. I must go."

*In the midst of the chaos, Konoko sneaks down onto the grounds, to get a much better understanding of what was going on. Cloaking herself with psychic energy and reflecting away the light, she hoped that she could remain unseen*

Mark raises an eyebrow at the man's smirk. Drawing his sword, Mark stays on guard, going to let either the man or Circe make the first move.
