Maya's Excellent Adventure

[KonokoHasano]

Ashley pulls out some paper and tosses them at the snakes, cutting many of them up.

[Maiden Miki]

"RUN!" yelled Maya as she threw her bomb and at once began to run in a certain direction.

Explosions and snakes went flying everywhere due to the attacks of everybody.

[Knight Errant]

"... right!" Dact runs beside Maya! Crossbow at the ready.

[KonokoHasano]

"So where to now?" Ashley asked as he ran besides them, almost in a casual speaking manner sort of way.

[Maiden Miki]

Eventually Maya had stopped running and then looked around. She seem a bit nervous but wasn't tired. She looked around and then said, "I-I-I don't know."

Maya then pulled out her map and then blinked. "I think we kind of passed up the entrance. Not by much though."

Maya then walked around and seem a bit scared. She then saw a wall that was covered in overgrowth of vines and then pulled at it. When she did it was revealed to be a cave opening.

"Here it is..." said Maya as she looked into it and saw how dark it was. "It-it-it looks dark."

[KonokoHasano]

"Dark and lovely, you mean." Ashley said, peering into it. "However..." He holds out a hand, and an orb of bright light appears floating above it. "I think this will make it better for you, right?"

[Knight Errant]

Dact backpedals and nods at the cave opening! "Awesome..." He takes out a lantern. "Did you need a flashlight or something, Maya?"

[Maiden Miki]

"UMm...thank you very much," said Maya as she smiles at Ashley and Dact. "I-I-I do. I appreciate your help."

Maya then nods and enters the cafe but tries to stay close to her travelmates. Dripping sounds could be heard and it would seem as if they could be walking in puddles.

Ashley keeps his senses on high alert as they move on through, looking around and into the darkness in the process.

[Knight Errant]

Dact hands the lantern to Maya and gets another one out. He walks along... then looks down shining his light to check what they are walking in.

[Maiden Miki]

"Thank you," said Maya as she looks around. She looked at the walls and notice there seem to be something like claw marks.

If Ashley was listening then something like deep breathing could be heard down the cave. Dact may notice that the water seem to be green. Sometimes droplets would be falling from the ceiling.

[Knight Errant]

Dact drops his voice, listening intently. "Hmm... sounds like we are in the lair of... something."

[KonokoHasano]

"Lovely..." Ashley begins to float so that he doesn't keep walking in... whatever the stuff was. "Maybe we can get the jump on it."

[Maiden Miki]

"What you think?" said Maya nervously as she looked around. More of the same.

Ashley would then at once feel as if he hit something. It looked like some sort of giant bat that was furry and hanging upside down.

[Knight Errant]

"Use the light filter on the lantern... lets go find what it is." He pulls a latch, lowering a mesh covering over the opening for the light. This cuts the bright beam into a dim light good enough to navigate by. He then heads deeper in looking for whatever it is!
