Blaze brushes a strand of air from her face and smiles.

"I'm from Wales, Great Britain. You?"

The woman sighs, shaking her head.

"Just run, little one.
I don't think that you are safe
The artist sees all!"

Waving a hand she tries to shoo Chisame away!

"Oh... well, alright!" Chisame proceeds to run... right past the woman.

[Vomica]

Merah gives a quick nod of her head, "Uh-huh. I can handle that!" She says, "...back home I sometimes gotta clean up the bathroom." The teenager scrunchies her nose up, "And it's a public bathroom."

[Mendi-chan]

*The ninja frowns... Muttering...*
Damn...
*He turns to the sly gentleman before him, his glare never leaving the man's eyes.*
Fine, fine... I'll play your game for the moment... How can I 'win' myself back?

The girl giggles. "I know where Wales is, I'm not a dummy!" She smiles regardless though. "And I'm from here!"

--Chisame, Chronicle of Art--

Chisame runs on by..only to encounter a muddy hill! Instead of mud though, it seems to be brown paint--and quite slippery!

--Merah, Chronicle of Smoke--

The woman--'Shrapnel'--gives Merah a bemused look...as she pulls into a tunnel, eventually coming to a screeching halt at the side of a darkened road. "Right! Well, this whole place is kind of like a public bathroom, so I expect you on your best behavior, okay?"

--Mendo, Chronicle of Chance--

The man shrugs. "Simple. Just bet bet bet until you've won enough credit to equal yourself out--I'm a nice guy, so here--100 credits." He tosses Mendo a coin. "Use any games you like...but if you lose your money, then you'll have to be a bit more amicable to being a prize, got it?"

[Blaze]

Blaze blushes a bit and scratches the back of her head.

"Err, right. Sorry." she says, scratching the back of her head.

"So... what's this school like?"

Chisame runs on by..only to encounter a muddy hill! Instead of mud though, it seems to be brown paint--and quite slippery!

Chisame -- after falling on her face a couple times -- thinks about this for a moment before coming up with the greatest idea ever... trying to go around it!

[Vomica]

She head tilts up at that, "...gross, disgusting, and no one should ever go in there?" The girl asks, "That'd be like behaving in a swamp."

[Mendi-chan]

*Catches to the coin, glancing at it and then to the man*
We'll just see about all that... But for now, I'll play along with your little game...
*At least, until he could repair himself... turning away, he begins to walk away and take stock of the games he had to choose from. He didn't really know how much this 100 credit coin was worth... but he was willing to bet it wasn't much. And if he was going to play along, he was going to do so smartly.*

Gust hmmms, tilting her head to the side. "What's it like...? Well I mean, probably like most any school really! What were you expecting?"

She lowers her voice as the teacher launches into a speech about graphing.

Running running running...she finds herself in a darker environment. The hues seem more subdued somehow, the sky a whorl of oilpainting. Up ahead, a figure stands, back to her. A silhouette.

--Merah, Chronicle of Smoke--

Shrapnel gives the girl a look. She doesn't laugh. "Well come on--out we go."

Leaning over, she slams at the door--and them again. eventually getting it to open. The sidewalk looks grimy.

--Mendo, Chronicle of Chance--

The coin has a digital readout, displaying '100'.

The man gives a shrug. "Your call, robuddy."

"Well... truth be told, I was homeschooled before coming here, so I didn't really know what to expect at all." Blaze explains as the teacher starts the lesson. And here she is with nothing to take notes! Oh darn~

Running running running...she finds herself in a darker environment. The hues seem more subdued somehow, the sky a whorl of oilpainting. Up ahead, a figure stands, back to her. A silhouette.

"Hmm... shoulda brought a flashlight... or a candle. Maybe candles to strap to my head!" Shaking her head for a moment, she looks over at the figure. "Huh, hey! You there, person. Hi, hi! Could you help me?"

[Vomica]

Merah gives a stern nod, and turns to her own door. With a pull of a lever, and a girlish grunt, she manages to throw her hip into it -- pushing it forward. Hoping out of the truck, her feet land on the grimy side walk. She glances around in a small amount of fright, "...this place is bad..."

[Mendi-chan]

*Frowns... turning to a nearby slot machine he pulls up his coin and attempts to bet 20 credits on a spin*
Darn right it's my call...

The girl giggles. "Oh! Well, uhm--how about I show you around then? Maybe after class, we can---!"

She breaks off, and for a moment it's unclear why...but then there's a -KRACK-, and a -BANG-n as something -SMASHES- into the ground outside! A crater seems to have formed...something having landed outside the window, a good 50 feet away--a black, spiked mass...

The teacher speaks up.

"What's that? Oh. Uh, students, please remain calm, stay away from the windows..."

--Chisame, Chronicle of Art--

A girl turns, raising an eyebrow. She looks normal enough...on the surface, but there's something strange about her.

"Help? Help you what?"

--Merah, Chronicle of Smoke--

Shrapnel -klunks- the door shut behind her, jumping down next to Merah.

"Told you. Now--anyways, the noncombatants area's to the left. You need me to lead you there? There should be a truck leaving later today I think--that'll get you back to somewhere civilized..."

She looks Merah up and down.

"...Maybe an orphanage, in your case."

--Mendo, Chronicle of Chance--

20 credits go in...and he gets..a muffin, a muffin...and a tomapple. He gets...5 credits.
