Michelle hmms, resting a hand on her hip. Most yard sales were held in suburban areas, after all, but since Kether was unlikely to own a cute little bungalow, it seems likely he simply took over an available park or the like to have enough room to sell such a wide variety of devices. There should be some handy homes in the vicinity, though.

"Let's just put it in someone's yard!" Michelle suggests cheerfully. "I'm pretty sure no one would object to getting a free pool!"

Michelle nods! "Exactly!" She starts walking towards the edge of the yard sale, looking for a place that might be good.

Reaching the edge of the yard sale, Michelle and Ophelia find... a rather elaborate looking and expensive house across the street! It has a broad front lawn, tidily manicured and well-organized, with a few small flowerbeds and shrubs placed tastefully around to offer an atmosphere of understated elegance. A very expensive looking car is parked in the driveway, with a middle-aged woman in an expensive suit standing beside it. She appears to be shouting angrily into her cellphone, something about a "disgraceful display" and "unsightly mess", until she spots the two women!

"You there!" she shouts, pointing imperiously at them. "Are you responsible for this disgusting mess?" she asks, pointing again, this time at the yard sale on display. "Honestly! I bought this house to get away from these sorts of plebian spectacles, when some idiot decides our local park is the ideal place to set up shop!"

Her gaze focuses on the two... and shifts back and forth, apparently uneasy with the appearance of both. Eventually, she settles upon Ophelia, apparently deciding the inflatable maid is far too bizarre for her sensibilities to accept. "I demand that you clean up this mess immediately, or I'll have the authorities come up here and arrest the lot of you!"

The woman pauses at Ophielia's comment, the cell phone snapping shut audibly. "I don't think I will be 'chilling out'," she says with a sniff, before striding over to get a better look. "If you're not here to do what I want, then why are you here with your... things?" she asks, glancing over at Michelle and the penguin pool toy.

Michelle lets out a nervous laugh, squeezing the penguin pool toy that was Josephine in her arms, producing audible squeaks.

(( I'd had to look back quite a few pages to see what Ophelia looked like now! Still, a yuki-onna is slightly more acceptable to Mrs. Klarvatten here than the inflatable maid... ))

The woman glances down at the box, and a look if disgust passes over her well-manicured features. "Did you honestly think I, a wealthy socialite and wife to the esteemed business magnate Augustus Klarvatten, would deign to allow some of the local freaks to put a pool in my million-HL front lawn?" she says, her words dripping with disdain. "Now, why don't you take your toys along and find someplace more suitable for... your kind."

EDIT: Bwahahah! I feel rather silly now, as I went looking for a profile for Ophelia, and couldn't find one... until I realized it was actually Ookalf. Heheh. ))

Mrs. Klarvatten simply sniffs. "You offend me simply with your presence! Honestly, what do you expect when you come up to someone as beautiful and refined as I am, asking for things? Now, be off with you! I still need to find out who's responsible for this eyesore so I can have them dealt with!" She motions Ophelia away with her hands. "Shoo, shoo!"
