"Are you going to call my Mom again? She's a really busy lady, and could do without another call, Ma'am", she tried to argue as she was led into the school building. Summer might not have been used to dealing with the social aspects of school, but she was very used to dealing with authority from all her military training. "You see, those older boys were picking on a smaller girl, and I was just trying to do the right thing".
"No friends?", asked Katherine, her eyes widening a little. "Well... if you want, Summer and I can be your friends. Would you like that? You can come hang out with us at recess and lunch, and we'll make sure nobody tries to pull anything like those jerks outside did, okay? Sometimes we have clubs at lunch, but there'll always be atleast one of us there for you. Come on, I'll walk you to your first class", she smiled.
The principal doesn't say anything, until she finally leads Summer into her office. "Have a seat, Miss Bellisarius," she says, motioning to one of the plush chair facing her desk. As Summer takes her seat, the principal does the same, studying her for a moment through her glasses. Finally, she lets out a sigh.
"I understand the circumstances under which the fight was provoked," she finally says. "Given the mitigating circumstances, your punishment will be more lenient -- this time. However, I do have to ask... why did you choose to resort to violence to solve the problem? Why didn't you try to find an authority figure, or some other method of resolving the issue, rather than attacking the boys?" she asks.
Meanwhile, the young girl nods, smiling shyly at Katherine. "You... you'd really be my friends?" she asks, before smiling a bit more. "That... that would be wonderful."
She takes Katherine's hand, as the other girl offers to lead her to her class. "My first class is physics. We've got a quiz on the Copenhagen interpretation today..." she mutters.

It's almost getting time to meet up with her friends, though!
Smiling, she continues clapping for a bit, before looking at the time. Pausing, she quickly decides to head on out and toward the restaurant.
Fortunately, the restaurant is close by! As she enters, she can see her friends seated at a table, waiting for her!

Reya, however, will feel a momentary ripple pass through her. An odd sensation...
Reya blinks at the sensation, unintentionally dropping the phone as a result.
"E-eh..? What was that?"
Reya then frowns and gets on the ground to grab the phone from where it slid under the desk, hoping it's still working before attempting to have her 'conversation' with Maris.
The pulse of energy has a somewhat
spiritual feel -- almost a feeling of transcendence. Very strange...
Hikari, however, notices Reya's dropping of the phone, and moves quite quickly to try and speak to her. "Oh! Let me help you get that!" she says, bending down to help get the phone, her own deep brown eyes staring into Reya's...

The figure tsks. "No, no... what I mean is... Do you have any abilities to transform
others?" It lets out a dry chuckle. "The more chaos we can cause, the better. If not, however, don't worry... we've got a big plan to shake up this city..."
Shy Shay wrote:Shay frowns as his jacket seems to tear a bit, some of the beige leaking into Shay himself and doing whatever it does to him. "...seems like you're not as in control as your thought. What was that?"
Eva glances at Shay, looking suspicious for a moment, before she pauses and takes a moment to obviously steady herself. She then smiles at Shay. "Oh... that is part of the project I mentioned. Managing the containment of all that energy occasionally requires..." The white-haired girl pauses to search for the right words. "... a periodic release. It is perfectly under control, of course..."

Feeling, like all the world as though he were in some kind of strange dreamland, Victor nods slowly, as he follows the woman along.
"...You're serious? I mean...I guess it makes as much sense as...anything...but..."
"I'm quite serious, unfortunately," Caine says as they walk along. "One of the issues is that these energies can have fairly serious effects on their victims. Certainly, physical changes result, but the person's personality and memories can also be affected. Orange is perhaps one of the most severe, turning people dangerously psychotic -- and the city of Muffinville has been threatened by orange-affected individuals before. Violet can make even trained soldiers into meek, relatively helpless young women. Even blue, while largely harmless, has been noted at times to affect the victim's psychology so that they're relatively content with the changes, even if they're extensive physical ones."
The white-haired woman lets out a sigh. "Fortunately, most of these energies only appear in limited concentrations. There do exist locations called 'shards', where this energy can be found at a high density, and thus even ambient background energy will cause those who enter these regions to be transformed. However, these appear to be largely 'pocket universes', and are fairly well separated from this world as a whole. There are some locations, such as the kingdom of Aoi, which have a tendency to favor certain color energies, but these are largely more due to the efforts of their inhabitants and founders than any natural effect."
"This brings us to the place I mentioned before -- the Sand Academy for Young Women. As I said, it was permeated by the color 'beige' -- but this was a very dangerous place," she says, glancing at Victor to see if he's following along still.
