"Give me a minute!" said Dawn as she began to kick away any chickens at her legs. She then raises her hammer up and smacks the one on her hand in a cartoonish way.

*Ahem... anyway, the chickens that she kicks away are sent right into the face of the narrator for him to deal with. The one on Dawn's hand swerves around dizzily after being hit, little roosters circling its head, then lets go of her hand and drops to the ground*

"That is more like it," said Dawn as she nods and wipes away any feathers. "I like didn't expect that to happen."

[Albedo]

"Phew," Al sighs, "Now let's try that ring again."

*spits out a mouthful of feathers* If it starts raining tar, I'm getting myself a new umbrella.

"If you want go for it," said Dawn as she admires the ring and said, "Though I would still like to keep it. It has proven to be interesting to have."

Al frowns overtly yet still tries to remove it, not connecting chickens and ring.

*A few scant millimeters later, a rather noisy and distracting parade marches past. Comes complete with a baton-swinging leader, brass band, floats, clowns, balloons...*

"... What an odd ring... it must cause this. And make her neigh immortal, no cartoon would kill someone."

"Also it seems to adjust well to my powers too," said Dawn as she returns her hammer into her cleavage in a cartoon way.

[Albedo]

"Indeed, oh well, drat, and so on. All we need now is a funny animal."
