He turns to Lilly.

"Welcome to Club Xibalba, the Place of Fear. What brings you hear tonight Miss Succubus?"
She'll find that the patrons are all dressed in black, similar to what she's wearing. Coincidence perhaps?

*Lilly laughs and takes a seat at the bar.* Tell me, what do you think a succubus would be doing in a night club?

[Blaze]

The fox gir's ears twitch at the mention of a trap.

"This bar... is just a bar right?"

[Raleigh]

Well it is named 'Place of Fear' after all so I wouldn't expect that to be all it can do. I doubt its any worse than some of the bars in Hades or the like though.

[Feng]

The light source actually comes from a bunch of artificial candles placed along the walls and ceilings. This Elliot discovers upon entering the room. Unlike the nightclub above, the place seems reminiscent of a speakeasy from Prohibition, only... darker. Creepier. Most of the patrons here are sitting in mahogany booths sipping a strange glowing red or purplish substance from baggy containers.

"What's wrong with Jazz?" inquires a voice coming from the bar. The bartender, a red haired woman wearing a form fitting black dress (its a popular fashion here it would seem), gives Elliot the stink eye.

"This music has a rich history, kid. I ain't changing it, so you can either develop a taste in good music or get lost." -_-

"Hey Big Sis!" says Ana, approaching the bartender. "I met somebody on the surface! Isn't he cute?"

"Eh. He looks pale and pasty. Probably anemic..."

She looks Elliot up and down some more.

"Hmmm... I think I'm going to go give my cousin a few words about letting people into the Undercroft... Rachael, will you take over for me? I got to go talk business with Bones."

A purple haired girl appears from the shadows.

"You got it big sis. Just try to be gentle this time, OK?"

"Don't worry. I'll be nice."

The red haired woman turns to Ana and Elliot.

"While I'm gone behave yourself, you two. No funny business OK?" ^_^


"Hmmm... I'd wager looking for innocent souls to corrupt," says Bones. "I'm afraid it might be thin pickings tonight though."

He motions to the crowd that is comprised of mostly females. There do appear to be some men lurking about though.

"Anyways, can I get you anything to drink?"

"Xibalba loosely translates into the Place of Fear. It comes from the Mayan creation myth, the Popul Vuh."

He turns to the fox girl.

"The club does have its dark secrets miss, as this place attracts some of the more shifty denizens of the city. However, don't fret. I won't let the boogeymen lay a hand on you, alright?" ^_^

"Anyways, would you like another orange juice before your upcoming performance?"

*starts on her second drink* Looking for victims.

"Hmmm... I'd wager looking for innocent souls to corrupt," says Bones. "I'm afraid it might be thin pickings tonight though."

He motions to the crowd that is comprised of mostly females. There do appear to be some men lurking about though.

Close enough. I'm surprised that there are still this many men in existence around here.

As his eyes adjust to the lighting, a shiver runs down his spine, inching forward, step by the step, until another female voice caught his attention. Despite actually holding Ana's hand, he still gawped at the red-haired girl behind the bar. "Uh... oh... I didn't mean there was anything wrong with it... it's just I'm not... familiar with it... ", he mumbled. He blushed upon hearing Ana call him cute, only to frown as the big sister put him down. Falling silent, he watched the interactions between the three, his eyes widening a little at the eldest girl's warning.

"Funny business? You don't need to go up there... Bones wouldn't let me down here on my own, it was only because Ana wanted to bring me... c'mon. I'm a fun person! Just wait and see before you go trying to get me thrown out, okay?".

[Ookalf]

Something like that... I'll just take a vodka, for now.

"One vodka it is" says Bones, pouring Lilly a glass. "Would you be interested in singing karaoke? The stage is available all night for newcomers."

He turns to Zapana. "I'm not too surprised. The citizens of this city are a hardy bunch."


"Oh, I wouldn't worry your sweet little head about that" says the red head, smirking. "I wouldn't want to deprive my little sister her new playmate. If anybody is to be punished, its Bones for not being a good doorman. I'm sure you wouldn't mind that, eh? Ciao, ladies!" ^_^

She walks towards the door.

"Besides," she mumbles. "I need a drink."

[Harri-chan]

Elliot's blue eyes follow her as she turns and walks away, all the way to the door, and then he turned to look at Ana with a sheepish smile, "I think she just called me a lady, but... I forgive her, considering she's off to punish Bones", he laughed. Leaning in, he brushed a kiss again the girl's cheek. "Does she always talk to you like that? I never had any brothers or sisters".

Welcome to the club Lilly. Sorry I forgot to say hello earlier. My mind was elsewhere I'm afraid.

I guess I can take your word for it. Just looking around the city on the way here, I figure that about 65-70% of the people I've seen aren't in the bodies they started life as. *sips her drink* And that's just an estimation. If they aren't hardy, I'd have to suggest a less flattering description.

Eh... Passable. I haven't quite seen as much action as I'd like lately, but I'm getting by.
