"Ooh!" Whyte seems to light up from hearing Swift's name onward. She takes the box gently, and looks for anything written on the paper before starting to tear the wrapping off (unless the paper says not to do that or something).

*On the paper is a letter, with rather blocky and awkward lettering. *

"hi, whyte. sorry about this letter. i'm not good with computers.
i went with my boss dimension hopping recently and got you this at one of our stops.
when you're not busy with pfl-related stuff, i'd like to hang out sometime. if that's okay.

Velcy's tail is conspiciously wagging, but she seems to know the way at least. From the outside, it looks sort of like another office building, but the placard on the front door has a similar PFL logo to Whyte's shirt, and below that it says "Training/Sparring Facility 237".

The Eevee-girl actually hugs the paper before pocketing it, and tries one of the berries at random before closing the box up, still seeming pretty happy. "I'll be honest, I'm probably gonna text Amber as soon as this conversation's over 'cause I don't know how to get a hold of Swift any faster."

Dact follows afterwards... looking over the building. "Huh..." He looks from that, down to Velcy's wiggling tail. At least she seemed... happy?

*Callista smiles a bit at this display, but sobers up quickly.*

And also... well, I do have some information I think I can trust you with. It concerns something that Velcy said regarding me after I planted her into the street.

Velcy leads the way inside to a small room with a door locked by a card-scanning pad thing; she gets out a card of her own and scans it before opening that inner door in a motion that seems so routine as to be a reflex by now.

*Callista leans back in her chair, hugging one of her knees close to her. She looks very uneasy.*

Yeah... see, whenever I fight another Pokémorph, whether it's in the ring or elsewhere, I have these limiters that block off the full extent of my abilities. According to the higher-ups back home, they're to prevent me from cheating or otherwise taking things... "too far", if you get my meaning. A lot of those abilities are reduced to close equivalents, such as Stored Power and Slash.

At the same time, after I passed the tryouts, I started training myself to try and expand my moveset a little. If possible I would've liked to save those moves for when I fought against the PFL's tougher opponents, but... yeah, you saw me using Extremespeed. Long and short of it: yeah, I was holding back against Velcy, but I like to think I have a decent reason for it.

Whyte nods. "You wouldn't be the only one I've heard of intentionally limiting things a bit. You know--I dunno if you know who D is but, it actually has a full-pokemon Arceus form. It just considers it 'against the rules' because that wouldn't be humanoid, even though with the power of that form it could look human. Anyway, I don't think anyone would be upset about it."

*breathes out slowly* That's a load off my mind. ...And yeah, I've met D. It was one of those testing me at the tryouts. Kinda cool, if a bit battle-happy.

*sits up* One more thing before we split. Swift mentioned to me once that the both of you were hit with a mix of Colors back when you first got your current form, right? Do you know off hand which ones take priority?

Whyte nods. "I'm not really sure...I was cursed to be a shiny Eevee before, and from what I've been able to tell the colors kinda mixed with the curse in a weird way. Some weird girl had a color detection booth set up in the street the other day, I dunno how accurate it was but she sounded pretty smart. She said there was interference--from the curse probably--but it looked like a lot of faint traces, with the least faint being Crimson, Blue and Violet. I'm guessing the first two balance out my physical attraction to people where it's just kinda normal, and the last...well, I've had occasional bursts of stupid now and then and it's my best guess why."

Hmm... that actually explains why I feel a bit on edge around you... *clears her throat* Yeah. It was a bit of curiosity on my part... Swift told me that they were finally able to nail down which Colors take prevalence with him, and... well, I'll let him tell you when you meet up with him. It's kinda funny. *stands up*

The Eevee-girl doesn't feel the need to comment on the fact her ears can hear muttered comments. "I think I'd get rid of the violet if I safely could, but the whole situation is potentially volatile. I like how I am now for the most part, and I have no idea how the curse would react if I did something to remove any of the color energy. Anyway, I'll see you later. Maybe even in the ring?" She offers a hand to shake.

*Callista hypers off; the rush of displaced air in her wake sends the chair she was in skidding for a few meters.*

Once that's done with, Whyte sets the present down on a free chair and gets her phone out, sending a couple of slightly jumbled texts Amber's way:
"Hi can you tell swft whenever you have tim e I'd be happy to meat up wher ever"
...
"and thank for present. It's tasty"
