Circe's Manor

Callista: *peels herself off the wall, grimacing as she notices the cuts* Not one of my smarter choices...I may be needing that Dr. Pepper sooner than I thought. *sighs* But, whatever!

*Clutching her purse's shoulder strap with both hands, she raises it above her head before swinging it downward with all her might. In mid-swing the purse morphs, becoming a replica of Buttercup's massive Daruma Otoshi hammer.*

CA: Graviton Drive! *smashes the hammer against the floor, sending a shockwave of energy and debris at Circe*

[Circe]

*Circe summons up another earth wall between herself and Callista.*

[AmbushCat]

*The attack collides with the earth wall, stopping it for the most part. It does, however, have the effect of blowing apart the wall in question and scattering earth all over the gym floor.*

Callista: *panting a little; turns the hammer back to normal* Nowhere near as much power as Kaoru... blast it!

[Circe]

Now then... Great Spire! *Several stalactities form on the ceiling and drop on Callista.*

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *grimaces* Ain't any way I want to get struck head-on by those things! *jets backwards as far as the arena's shielding will allow*

[Circe]

*The stalactities crash harmlessly to the ground.* Missed...

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *breathes a relieved sigh* I think I'm a little bit young to get my skull pierced. *jets back to where she was before* Anyhow... time to test a new trick!

*She reaches into her shopping bag and withdraws a 20 oz. bottle of Ultra Violet Diet Mountain Dew, then kicks it in Circe's general direction*

[Circe]

*Circe fless to the corner of the arena.*

[AmbushCat]

*The U.V.D.M.D. lands near where Circe was previously, exploding violently. A wave of purplish-gray radiation, wavering in and out of focus, temporarily obscures most of the arena before fading into the air.*

*Nothing seems to happen. Nonetheless, erring on the side of caution, Callista chooses instead to snipe at Circe with ice bullets from her Element Gun instead of closing the distance.*

[Circe]

*Once more, Circe summons up an earthen wall to intercept the shots.*

[AmbushCat]

*Large patches of the wall freeze over, but the barricade does its job once more.*

Callista: Well, so much for that tactic.

[Circe]

*CIrce dismisses the wall.* [What was that radiation, anyway?[/color]

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *shrugs* Dunno. That's the first time I've tried using that flavor in combat.

*In the background, Aldonza heads over to the stereo to find a suitable BGM for the fight.*

[Circe]

Hmph. *Circe goes back to her place across from Callista.*

[AmbushCat]

*Some of the radiation, invisible to the unaided eye, seeps into Circe's skin. The effects aren't noticeable yet, however. Across from her, Callista stretches her arms a bit before waiting for her opponent's next move.*
