Looking for Blaze

[Feng]

Following a rocky makeshift starewell down a cliff, the two find themselves in the Seal District part of the Chibi Market.

In contrast to the Penguin and Puffin, the two major groups who are native to this area of the Muffin Continent, the Seal Tribe are foreigners and outcasts from a land far to the East, deep within the mountains tall.

Brought to the city by the Chibi Express Shipping Co. they have set up a small community on the outskirts of town. Unfortunately, their foreign rituals and customs have put them at odd with the local gangs that prowl the marketplaces and their home is currently a hotspot of criminal activity....


When they reach the cobblestone road, they find that the lights have all gone dark, destroyed by petty vandals with too much time on their hands. Despite the darkness however, they can make out faint shapes loitering on the main road...

[Blaze]

Blaze peers into the darkness and frowns, standing a bit closer to Bones.

"Should I bring out a flashlight?"

[Feng]

"No" whispers Bones. "It is best that we not draw attention to ourselves. Most Chibi possess night vision and can navigate through this mess. To rely on illumination would paint a huge target on our heads for the Chibi gangs to find us..."

The shadows begin to shuffle about before approaching the two. There is a glint of metal and the sound of a gun being loaded."

".... I fear we might be too late however"

A deep voice speaks.

"Wallets out. Now."

"Crap..." -.Q

[Blaze]

"Oh dammit..." Blaze sighs. She reaches into her sleeve and extracted a wallet, throwing it to the ground.

"There. Take it and go."

[Feng]

Bones tosses his as well. A lone figure cautiously picks up the discarded wallets while his cohorts chuckle.


"Hehehe... Very good" says the voice. "Jewelry next!"

[Blaze]

Blaze sighs and rolls her eyes.

"Not every girl likes to wear jewelry you know..."

[Feng]

There is a roar of laughter!

"Then I suppose we're gonna have to rough you up, #$@#!" says the leader, spitting at the ground before Blaze. "Maybe we'll even let your boyfriend watch."

"We're not d-"

"SHUT IT #@!$! OR I'LL CUT YOU UP GOOD!"

".... Man I hate it here." =.= mumbles Bones.

[Blaze]

Blaze does not appreciate being called a hash-dollar sign-ampersand-hash, and she especially does not like the implication that she is dating.

"I was gonna just let yuo go, but now you've pushed me."

Suddenly, Blaze's dressed is replaced by full-body armor! It's obsidian black and clings to her body with large thick boots and gloves. Her head is fully enveloped in what resembles a motorcycle helmet with a one-way screen. Inside, Blaze smirks as the screen gives her night vision.

"Bring it on."

[Feng]

There is a glimmer as Machetes are drawn, while the sound of gun's hammers being cocked echoes through the streets. Those nearby not associated with the gang flee in terror, fearful of the coming bloodbath.

"YOUR <BEEP> IS MINE <BEEEP!"

"You know, I may be a Criminal Mastermind, but I won't tolerate such language to a lady, even if its the Investigator." -.Q

There is a shout from the leader in the Chibi tongue as the mob rushes towards the two.

"Try to save some for me, Investigator" says Bones, drawing his trusty gun. "The Chibiwanbanshu are offering handsome bounties for each Chikuza head!"

[Blaze]

A pair of 9mm handguns appear in Blaze's gloved hands! Her voice eminagtes from the helemt, sounding very robotic

"Try to stay behind me."

She opens fire at the rushing mob!

[Feng]

The bullets tear into the mob of criminals, downing several and quickly dampening the morale of those still alive from the onslaught. However, they will not be so easily deterred.

Those in the back with fire arms retaliate to the brutal assault by opening fire at the Investigator. Their fury however is met with the silent shot of Bone's weapon.

"Don't worry about me, Investigator. I think I can handle thi-"

There is a fwoosh as a pale greenish light illuminates the district showing a Chibi heavily covered in lime green tattoos, his face painted to look similar to a grimacing skull.

"Oh dear... They've got a sorcerer."

[Blaze]

Blaze doesn't seem too fussed with being shot. The bullets hit her, but the armor stops them easily and while she does stagger back a bit, she doesn't fall.

"I see him. Hard not to."

The two handguns vanish, replaced with a grenade launcher! Blaze fires it, not directly at the sorceor, but to his side, trying to avoid having the explosion blocked with a shield.

[Feng]

The grenade is met by a lime green fireball accompanied by more foul laughter from the sorcerer.

"Watch out Blaze. Conventional weapons won't work on this foe. His kind are like cockroaches. They infiltrate the nice parts of society and are very hard to kill off..." -.-

Emboldened by the presence of the sorcerer, the Chikuza begin to fight back, harder, faster!

[Blaze]

"Right... Let try this then. Hope this works."

THe grenade launcher vanishes, replaced with... a giant scroll? Blaze steps in front of Bones and with a florish, opens it! The inside is painted with a set of seals that repeat, seals that begin to glow!

"How did it go... oh yeah. Sealing Arts: Sealed Bullet Barrage!"

Suddenly, the seals start spitting out bullets! A hail of bullets that never ceases, as Blaze slowly unravels the scroll, revealing more seals that fire more bullets!

[Feng]

The Sorcerer meeps as he dives for cover as the bullets take out the remainder of his friends.... Not to mention half of the Seal district as well.

".... Where did you learn such an ability?" says Bones, gazing with horror at the onslaught. "Don't you think that's a bit much?!?" O____o
