Coming up. *Sends the requested beverages to the two.* So want part of the dinosaur or anything in particular?

Ezekiel: *emphatically* MRREOW!

Ellen: ...I think that's a 'yes'. As for me, I'll pass.

[Raleigh]

Alright. Just state what you want to eat and it'll appear. Now then, let's eat. *Sits down at the table and cuts up the meat and sets some slices on a plate for Ezekiel.*

*Ezekiel meows again, this time in thanks, and cheerfully digs in.*

Ellen: ...Turkey meat loaf with broccoli and cauliflower, please. Small servings. *takes her time eating the food that appears*

[Raleigh]

I'll have to invite all of you over for another dinner sometime. It is nice to not eat alone. *Ebony eats some of the meat from Raleigh's plate while nodding to inviting Ambush's family over.*

Ellen: ...I'll have to ask Dad later. Mom'll like it, but Dad prefers to stay out of the Villes proper whenever possible. ...That, and with summer heating up, the beach he works at has gotten busier, so it's unlikely he'll be able to attend with us.

[Raleigh]

I can work with that. Don't get to meet your pop often but I can understand his reluctance to some degree.

No worries. So, when we are done, who wants dessert?

Ellen: *still eating* ...It'll be a few minutes yet. I'm not a "fast" eater.

*Ellen settles in, dealing with the business of eating. Ezekiel, being the more enthusiastic and hungry of the two, finishes his meal first not long after and purrs in satisfaction.*

*Works his way through his meal sharing it with Ebony.* Recently found an amusing tool in use. Seems to be favored by a type of word mage. A crystal brush or something, not entirely sure of the name really. As large as a staff but has crystalline bristles at the end and serves as a medium for them to write their spells in the air or ground if they charge a bit of power through it. All in all I think it was an interesting find. Not the fastest or strongest way to use that kind of magic but amusing.

Ellen: ...Seems a bit awkward to me. It also feels like they'd need a certain amount of strength to keep the thing balanced while they write.
