Doppleganger: *just smiles and points at something unseen to his right* I just realized that I'm a Total Nutcase.

What? *Circe looks where the doppelganger's pointing.*

*Sure enough, there's a little holographic picture---provided by Curtis, no doubt--- of a grinning A. C., the words "Total Nutcase", and several star-adorned skirts. The picture disappears after about 3-5 seconds of viewing.*

Doppleganger: I'm probably the only one who finds that funny.

[Circe]

...I don't get it.

[AmbushCat]

*The doppleganger just rolls around, repeatedly smacking the floor with his paw and laughing.*

Doppleganger: I love it! Absolutely...love...it! Curtis, you are f#@$%& amazing--- *gets hit with a rolled-up newspaper* ---OW!

Doppleganger: *mutters* Way to be a buzz kill, Double Dribble.

[Circe]

... *Ignoring the doppelganger, CIrce moves on.*

*The doppleganger follows along eventually, muttering to himself about clones who just can't take a compliment. At some point he pauses, and loud pulling noises are heard as he starts to sharpen his claws on the carpet.*

[Circe]

*Circe stops and looks back.* What are you doing?

[AmbushCat]

Doppleganger: Giving my claws a good trimming. The long ones tend to hooked on stuff, you know what I'm saying? *pauses* ... ...Actually, come to think of it, you probably do. Forget I asked that.

[Circe]

Well, stop it! You're tearing up the carpet!

[AmbushCat]

Doppleganger: Well, what am I supposed to sharpen them on, then? If I get my claws stuck in your carpet or a tapestry, and I end up shredding the whole thing, you'll just be more upset than you are now.

[Circe]

You could go home and sharpen your claws on something there.

[AmbushCat]

Doppleganger: Can't. 5% power, and all that. Means that I don't have A. C.'s mad dimen-porting skills.

Then how did you get here?
