Old School Casino And Hotel

In a dark, quiet corner of Muffinville, there sat a great, empty building. Once upon a time, it had been a factory that produced all manner of steel works. Now it was little more than a skeleton, standing guard over a parking lot that had begun to loose the battle with the cracks and weeds appearing in it.

But as the demon who called himself Roman looked over it, he saw something different. Potential, that is to say. Summoning from his reserve of power, which had grown considerable after his deal to play Santa for a time, he focused a great deal of energy on the place. The building shifted and changed under his gaze. The smokestacks sticking from the ground turned into a large, round tower of a skyscraper that contained the finest hotel rooms. The factory floor, which for long years had produced nothing but cobwebs and rat nests, began to stretch out. The old, rusting machines came to life, transforming into slot machines, card tables and other various implements of gambling. The lobby, which had once a functional thing of white ceiling panels and gray floor tiles, changed into a handsome, elegant one with a large, black marble desk greeting all coming in. Even the cafeteria changed from something you could find in a high school to a beautifully decorated bar and cafe. The decor of the building was now done in rich red carpets, brass fixtures and large, hanging chandeliers. Brilliant lights lit up the front, with the name of the casino going up in flashing lights that seemed to cover every surface of the building's exterior. Finally, the cracked, bruised parking lot melted away into a large, entrance staircase and enormous black marble fountain that shot water high into the air in extravagant arcs.

Roman breathed heavily and wiped some sweat from his brow. It had taken a lot of effort to do this, but he had faith that it would bring him more power than he'd spent. With a quick bolt of magic, he teleported a heavy sack of prizes to some place unseen and walked inside.

*Yowling, some black liquid that was in the fountain gets shot high into the air along with the water. Morphing into his standard form before he hits the ground, Ambush Cat takes off running at full tilt into the casino, his fur standing on end*

There was a gentle clapping from beside Roman as he finished shaping his Casino. Melanie had accompanied him, and looked pleased with what she saw. "This could be your greatest venture yet... ", she murmured with a gleeful glint in her eyes.

Meanwhile, it didn't take long for people to get drawn to the new business, one of whom was Elliot. Wearing a light blue hooded top, jeans and light blue skate shoes, he made his way up the entrance staircase, admiring the impressive fountain before spotting Roman and the teenage girl, and headed over to them.

"This is pretty classy, Roman... ".

"Greetings." Roman said as he smiled at the man. "Have you come to see what adventures my palace has to offer?"

Issei takes a step into the casino, "Sweet, time to make some money!!" he yelled out triumphantly, the obvious obsession with gambling probably influenced by his mentor.

Roman greeted him as well, commenting to himself that he could really use a greeter for this place.

"What would be your pleasure?" he asked, "Cards? Slots? The fighting pits? Perhaps just a drink and a dine?"

Phew... *Lilly enters the casino with a whistle of approval.* Nice place they've got here...

"Thank you. I put a lot of hard work into it" he said honestly, "Would you like to enter and explore a bit?"

Inside, there are a few different places where he can go. There is a casino floor, a fight pit of some kind, a cafe and an entertainment lounge.

"So it is!" He said brightly, "I would like to try a legitimate business. Something that people can come and enjoy without any fear of harm. Step on through and see the results yourself."

He clicked his fingers, and the cat was dry.

He clicked his fingers, and the cat was dry.

I'm cool, I'm cool. Just napping in there, is all. Totally my fault. *stretches a bit* So... a casino, huh?

Melanie shook her head, "Where ever you feel I'm most needed", she replied, her gaze drifting to watch those arriving at the Casino with a smile. "This is going to be FUN!".


Elliot looked a tad worried by Melanie's obsession with Roman, but shook the thoughts out of his head. "To be fair, Roman, it's not my safety I'm worried about when you're around... but sure, I'll give it a go", he said, passing by the pair and headed on in to the casino, looking for something easy to get started with.

*He looks over the casino proper*

"May I help you?" Roman asked.

"I think I'll start with the Slots" Issei replied to Roman.

"Then head right on through." He said, pointing the way.

Melanie shook her head, "Where ever you feel I'm most needed", she replied, her gaze drifting to watch those arriving at the Casino with a smile. "This is going to be FUN!".

"In that case, my dear, I'm going to need a floor manager. Now if you'll hold still for me..." He said, concentrating

Elliot looked a tad worried by Melanie's obsession with Roman, but shook the thoughts out of his head. "To be fair, Roman, it's not my safety I'm worried about when you're around... but sure, I'll give it a go", he said, passing by the pair and headed on in to the casino, looking for something easy to get started with.

"Hey cutie." Called an attractive blue haired girl. She was clearly an adult, but she wore a school uniform with a mini skirt and a shirt tied at the waist. Her breast bore a badge that read "Stacy"

"You feelin' lucky?" She asked him, in a voice that was half a purr.
