Fish...sorcerer...person...thing: That would be lovely, yes.

Harpy girl: ...So I would be lovely... *gestures at her friend* ...and she would be yes?

EA-girl: *salutes* Fred Fredburger, yes!

Yes. Yes I am.

Ah, we were just talking about you! So, as it kinda sounds like you noticed, your kids kinda got caught up in our little monster school thing here... And I guess it got to you, too. Anyway, we were talking about them maybe becoming students here, so we thought we'd talk to you, too... *Ookami trails off as she notices the look in the other woman's eye.* And, judging by that glare, I guess you're not interested... Well, that's OK too! We can just change you all back! ...Somehow. Probably.

Tara, apparently paying attention to the conversation despite still being on the roof of the school, quietly waves at the group from there.

Ah, right. Miss Tara can probably help you out more with the details... *Ookami looks up at Tara on the roof.* You can help, right?

Fish Whatchamacallit: Let's hope so. *teleports over to Tara* You get all that?

Tara stands up and crosses her arms, but retains her continual grin. "You know, I really thought your trip up here would be a lot more entertaining. I also thought the first person up would be someone with wings who can physically fly. I don't think you said your name, did you?"

Nadaka stops waving her pom poms for a moment, looking around. "I'm boooored!"

Fish-Lady: Sarrio Branehm, and I'm not here to entertain you. I'm here for their sake. *gestures at the two kids down below*

Tara adjusts her glasses while Sarrio speaks. "I don't want to give you the impression everything I say is irrelevant, just some of it. As you can see, my current form doesn't actually come packaged with any powers that could actually help you with your situation, but, my regular abilities are hard to lose, and might be able to do something." She produces a small notepad from seemingly nowhere and a pencil from behind an ear, which probably also wasn't there before. "Said powers are very much based on words. Names are words bound with one's identity, so it's much easier to do this magic on someone whose name I know. Which is why I'm letting students mingle down there, since racial powers indirectly let me listen to a bunch of conversations at once. You mind telling me your kids' names?"

Meanwhile, a lot of the students are just sort of shuffling into the building by now. Nadaka is approached by a satyr girl (wearing a school uniform and not holding a staff). "Heya." She speaks calmly and gives a very non-committal wave despite having walked all the way over here.

Sarrio: The harpy is Nollharn, and the multi-armed one is Kahlio.

"Right then, let's see here.." Tara retrieves a notepad and a pencil from..somewhere, and writes down the names. She sticks her tongue out and taps the eraser of the pencil against the side of her head a few times while staring at the paper. "...Hmm. I don't actually have a record anywhere of what you used to look like, and the genie magic that enacted the changes is a bit strong. The genie who did it could reverse it, but she used something even stronger to turn into a kitsune a couple of minutes ago and doesn't have that powerset anymore."

Sarrio: *looks visibly peeved for a few seconds, then gets herself under control* ... I guess there's no real way around it, then. I was hoping not to waste my energy, but it's looking like I will need to trigger the changes myself.

"If you had some way of fixing it and didn't use it right away I have to assume there's some risk involved? At least let me look like a responsible principal and shoo the other kids inside first if that's the case."

Sarrio: You'd be correct. My magic is powerful, but taxing; I'm often left tired after doing anything more complex than teleportation. As a reflex, I absorb "junk mana"---that is, magic not directly required for others' survival---from those in the area to replenish my reserves.
