You really don't want to do that. *Raleigh looks at the thieves.* Ambush, is that you snoring I'm hearing?

*The whale song stops. Callista pokes her head out of the treasure, yawning*

I'm sorry, Raleigh, were you saying something?

Just trying to find out where the whale song was coming from. How did you get in my treasure pile?

*looks around* ...Wait, what? How did I get here? *confused as all get out* Did I sleepwalk or something? Weird...

Eh, probably one of the artifacts in the pile teleported you or something. I have a few that can do that. Oh, I got a new house recently. It is in a village with a lot of cool people who claim to be Crimson Demons. I checked though and found not a speck of demon in them. Enhanced human probably but no demon. I was mildly disappointed.

Maybe they just chose it because they liked the name? Sounds like the same rationale I gave for naming the Infinite Defense, even though it's not really 'infinite'.

Yeah. They are quite fun and somewhat talented mages. A bit pose happy but then again I meet people like that all the time. I recall those oddly buff psychics I met who did that too though somehow they made it more annoying. By the way, have you seen any of the the Raktavarna I kept in this pile? I do like to keep my stuff protected so hiding some Rakshasa in amongst it seemed to be a good idea.

Look like bejewled weapons mostly. Daggers and swords and the like. Nasty little beasts which are debatable on how spirit or material they are if you get to the nitty gritty of it. Like to kill people who use them or worse corrupt them.

That would explain why I feel full despite not having breakfast yet. When you woke me up, I'd dreamed that I'd just finished eating a giant hot dog. Here.

Not feeling quite so nauseous anymore, so I think that worked.
