I am still a good two months away from getting back to Illinois, and even when I get there I won't be quite where I was living, so am rather depressed that I will not be able to have the pleasant daily life I had. I am also exceedingly depressed that now that spring is sprung, I am unable to enjoy my favorite haunts during my favorite time of year, especially a bummer because my birthday is coming up and I don't want to associate it with driving for 6 hours... also spring is my favorite time to watch some of my favorite anime that I had watched for the first time during previous springs ^_^ (eg: Pani Poni Dash, Kashimashi, Elfen Lied, Genshiken, Trigun, Marimite, Haruhi, Evangelion, Simoun, Ouran, Kino no Tabi...)
So I am try to at least... at least... focus on what positive things I have gotten out of Indiana... although I figured out quite a few... most revolve around no longer taking things for granted that I had in IL but do not here...
- I learned to not take the place I love for granted
- I will no longer take dishwashers for granted
- I will no longer take it for granted that people actually pronounce it “Dishwasherâ€
