I'd probably try to explore women who rape, but I'm not female and, at least to me, their position seems a bit more complex. Whenever I think about a woman raping a man, I end up wondering how often it's actually seduction. Because I imagine that a man, so long as he wasn't injured, would just consider it a surprising (if perhaps disturbing) sexual encounter or something. :? Although I can see them claiming rape if he's afraid the woman will have a child and try to dig into his finances that way. *Shrugs*

I've spoken to my mother about it before. She's been in groups for abuse victims and has encountered men who have been sexually abused and/or raped by women, and to them it was not a "surprising sexual encounter." It's still someone violating someone else, no matter what genders are involved.

i am horribly appalled, IF Bush needs young men for the "war against terror." that has so far proven COMPLETE BUNK! wht the hell do we have marines stationed in JAPAN when we are allies anyway!? further more, if similar events have happened REPEATEDLY in the past, why do we allow people to still be stationed there? And also notice, 4 people, 2 young women, 2 somewhat older, Can you not say "background check."?


Thats why when i grow up i intend on moving to england, see my grandmothers family.

I didn't say that they would be surprising sexual encounters. I just wonder how often it might happen if the circumstances for that particular man aren't that bad to him. I can understand abuse ruling that out most, if not all, of the time; especially if their life is threatened. I can even understand violation, since I don't think I've ever gotten over the "minor" experience that I had once. And this is also ruling out men who are masochists. The idea came to me and it just seemed more possible for a man than a woman to get out of it okay, as far as circumstances versus mindset are concerned. How much more possible, if possible at all, I have no idea.

Like I said before: I consider rape to be worse than death. But it's not a single-minded opinion. I still think about things and try to understand them better, even if they already seem quite clear to me.

The reason there are marines in Japan is mostly historical Keaton. First they were there in order to occupy Japan following the second world war, that quickly turned into being a part of bases along the Pacific to prevent the Russians and the Chinese from projecting power into a Pacific sphere. These days it is a bit more ill-defined, but it is mostly an outgrowth of the American military doctrine of projecting power all over the world in the defense of American interests and to keep taps on countries the US doesn't like too much. North Korea being the most obvious example in this case but China and Russia are still both relevant despite the cordial relationships between them and the US.

And all the talk about men being the ones who desire/need sex... women do too. Women can be plenty sex-crazed. They just don't necessarily express it the same way a lot of men do.

they don't need to express it because it's a whole lot easier for women to get sex then it is for men. Like everything else I respond to I base it off what I definately know or from personal experience. My experience with the general public as both genders leads me to say that men are more sex craved. And that's from only being a woman for 5 months, before hand I rarely got hit on as a guy and that's given three years of work in retail and fast food.
