*Digs self out of the snowcone*
It depends on what's hiding you from the sun. Our doublewide is good at holding in heat, which is good during the colder times of the year. However, it's harder to keep the place cool during the hot periods; from direct sunlight or not, I don't know. But it only took an hour for the temperature to rise by twenty-five degrees, about five degrees shy of the temperature outside (at the time). Fortunately the electricity was back on in an hour.
Except for the part about getting into a car after it's been sitting out in the sun for a while, I much prefer that breeze over a hot, stuffy house with nothing to power a fan.
