What I meant is that war and peace is not dependent on thought. You will have it regardless of thought. Things just happen. Things just change; from one event to the next, to one reaction to the next. It's only through perception that anything is given a name and a definition.

So, until otherwise foreseen by perception, the fact that this bacteria has been able to survive by itself is a promising prospect for someone like myself and my crazy ideas.

Although there could have been a multi-celled species that had been the only species in an ecosystem, in the past, and now long extinct. Too bad I'm already a sexual species, though. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with being a non-sexual, lone species in my dreams of madness. ;/
