Hehehe. Okay then, why is it that only jerks and arseholes become bosses?

Not all jerks and assholes are bosses. But, if you want to know why there are so many bosses that are, it's due to a number of things. For one, in a system where you often have to step on others to succeed, people that move ahead already suffer from conscience deficiency. Since the common mentality is that people have to fend for themselves, they get bonus points toward self-importance and base their attitude around their needs and personality (in particular, their tolerance levels). Another reason is due to their insecurity. A manager, if not also the owner of an establishment, has to worry about their own employment because the performance of their employees can reflect on them. In that way many will get on an employee's case because they're an extension of themselves and thus the need for more control, of wanting things to be perfect, can turn them into overbearing beasts that can become even more burdensome to an employee than their own job. And if their own responsibilities don't stress them out, then they're stressing themselves out with their employees, which just churns and circulates the ill moods.

How does it come that the IQ of a group of people equals the IQ of the dumbest divided with the number of people?
