How you try to improve yourself is your own business, and admirable regardless.
But getting back to the original topic (blech! Just SAYING that phrase makes me ill!), it's useless to wonder about whether your personality traits are "okay". If you don't LIKE being inconsistent, try to stop. If not, then don't worry about it.
You don't see ME worrying about who thinks of my Spamming as obnoxious and who thinks it's hilarious, do you?

• dropped out of high school - Okay, not that one. University count?
• never had a job - Check. In a rational sense, anyway.
• don't have any skills or experience worth being considered seriously - Check.
• can't handle the social life well at all - Check.
• have trouble with picking up even simple habits and thus anything required to be done regularly (like bathing and exercising) are practically beyond me - Check. Side effect of ADD.
• and then there's just my lack of energy/motivation/whatever to initiate much of anything. - Check. Why do ya think I haven't done anything for at least two years?

I have nothing but spare time, but all that I can really manage is to use a bit of it toward MSF. Anything else that I do with my spare time is devoted to, well, just sitting around browsing the Internet, or playing a video game, much like a zombie. And if not that, then I'm lost in thought, or pacing around, or just sitting somewhere, or lying in my bed, doing nothing. My brain envisions me getting up and running through the trail in the forest and all kinds of stuff that appeal to me, but I just can't muster the will to do it. I can only focus on so much anyway, and I'm barely making due with focusing on MSF.

I won't appraise myself to be more than I'm worth. That leads to being the sort of person that I definitely don't want to be. Besides, I don't even know where you're coming from with this self-worth stuff. Regardless, I guess it doesn't matter since I don't accept much of reality, either. I'm in my own private world where there's no currency, no capitalism, and myself as a ruler of nothing. And since nothing is everything, I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

That's rich stuff right there.
