Sounds good for the most part, it fits in with what I said about them being Ae who live for passion the way Aeternalae live for potential -- I had a feeling you'd have that. The only thing I'd suggest different is paring down some specifics about their society or abilities. I intentionally leave those open for Ae races so people can add their own versions or interpretations, though no one says the Ewigilenae don't have at least one group or society that acts the way you suggest. The bond thing at least does sound like the yaoi meme as a whole, which is a founding force for anime fandoms.

I guess the cat is out of the bag -- Mecchen House is indeed a story that properly introduces Aeternalae. One thing I found neat though is that the way its written shows a very human perspective and goes slowly with the elements. It's also not an "Aeternalae story", it's just a darn fine story by itself even if you know nothing about them. In fact, it's becoming sort of a gateway story in itself that way, something you're told to read first before you consult any future wiki or other such thing -- the story expects you to know nothing about them, and it's even better if you don't (that's why we kept it quiet for so long, so it wouldn't be obvious).
Obviously, most of the cast
aren't Aeternals, so it's not like they hog the story itself. Notice the title is about the location, sort of like how the "Star Wars" title doesn't mention the Jedi or anything even though they play a central role. To call it an "Aeternal story" is ignoring small things like Katsumi's mother issues, Tara's warmth and hidden wisdom, Miki's friendliness, Ms. Ishida's motherly care and so on that make Mecchen House an actual story with characters people can relate to. The early to mid chapters are rough, but if one can get through them the later stuff gets really really good (Kerina plans to go back over the early stuff eventually to make it of even quality).

When I was thick as a brick, couldn't take a whit of criticism, wrote contrived crap, picked needless fights with people (well, non-trolls) on and off MSF, had no clue what reality was or any desire to actually live in it -- yeah. Things have changed since then.
Also, Sophia, noticed your quote. You're going to
really like Toki. Who is Toki? That's a secret for now, but she's one of my favorite characters in the universe.
