Can bots follow someone around...? I was just wondering because I'm beginning to notice that more spam is posted at MSF while I'm at MSF. For instance, there was just two spam posts during the eight hours I was asleep, but there have been four during the hour I've been at MSF. I also get a lot of spam at my Gmail account.

Not that I'm aware of.

They could just be on a timer or something or either way. But yar......! annoying bots.

I'm trying to find a mod that makes it so guest posts have to be approved before they are seen, but I'm not having any luck with it.

why not just turn off guest post all together....or make it so you have to register and log in to get to the forums. I see it all the time.

I guess it's mostly for freeform activities. Although, other than the spam bots, we don't have a problem with other guest posts. Such as the ones that post in that TG artwork thread. Besides which, I don't want to choose an option that more or less says that those buggers that make the bots are getting the better of us, especially when there are options out there that'd allow us to take care of their spam and still keep guest posts. Making it so no guests can post is the easy way out... Which I don't think would bear the best results. Keeping guest posts is good for a number of reasons; we just need to take care of this one problem we're having with it.
