what I would like to see happen to my father...

well... first off, I will spare you a very long rant, but pretty much... my father is an evil and scummy man, he makes $300,000 a year and is a total deadbeat, he spends more pampering his dog and buying booze than on keeping his children fed... but he can get away with murder because of his high priced lawyer...

I was talking to my croatian friend about this and he said (upon hearing the lawyer part) "that's America for ya..."

and then I stopped... and realized... America indeed... America which detains people slightly suspected of anything... putting them in horrible conditions and keeping them from having a speedy trial...

my father who is hiding money away from his family...

hmmm....

nothing that would ever happen, but a humorous daydream to me... convincing the FBI that he's hiding money to give to terrorists... and seeing him dragged off to gitmo! HA HA HA! that would be sweet! If any human deserves the inhumane treatment of gitmo it is him!!! Oh how wonderful the thought! "Good luck on your speedy trial, daddy-o!"

haahahahahahahhaha!

it makes me giddy!

My father wasn't and isn't much of a father, but I do recognize how he probably wouldn't have been successful as a middle-class citizen if he wasn't so dedicated to his work. Unfortunately my mother had never mothered where my father never fathered. ;/

But if you're a real American, you find something illegal about your father and find a way to prosecute him that awards you funds. ;p

Well, I say that those are both terrible stories and I wish I could do something for the both of you.

I will say that those being held by my government, IE the American Government, should be treated in accord with the Geneva Convention or be treated as civil criminals. None of this grey area horsehockey. But, please fact-check before going on political rants. Never take anything you hear from any media source as gospel without thoroughly researching it.

I'm not making a political rant... I'm saying that my father deserves something that is totally not in accordance to the Geneva Convention for being a horrible human being ^_^

Hehe, I apologize. The media's distortion of, err, everything, is one of my hot buttons so I tend to jump tracks to the topic.

...

Does anyone really deserve that kind of treatment?

Maybe GBush does, to give him some perspective on what he is doing/(allowing to be done) to others.

those who think eating is optional for their kids... so is medical... so is shelter... so is love... so is kindness... so is any sort of emotional support... ...and if they don't have all of those on their own they are lazy bums who deserve to live in a cardboard box (and tell them this)... and keep inflicting horrible fear and anxiety upon their former family, even 5 years after the divorce... and lie and cheat and abuse the legal system to get away with anything... and can't go a single meal without some wine or beer... and who spread totally false gossip about their former spouse so that everyone unfairly turns against her and chastizes her... and want to lead their children into alcoholism as well... and only care about impressing their friends with false claims of how they are big successful self-made men... and have explosive tempers... and verbally and sometimes physically abused their family members before the divorce... and can't be stopped...

yeah, I'd like a video of their waterboarding plzkthx

Wow.

*Hands May-chan a coupon for one free compound fracture leg-breaking on the father of her choice*

*Hugs* I'm sorry to hear that's what you've had to deal with for so long.

I'll see if there's something I can do. My dad votes Republican, so he might have some pull.

I wish there was something I could do to take away your pain and hate. I know how it feels to despise someone, though I had far less cause.

*gives a mug of hot chocolate*

It's always hard to hear about such heartless people who make life harder for other ones. Like children they don't think about what could happen, but unlike children they are always responible for what they do and they are not innocent.
I hope that you can somewhen think of him as just an idiot, who cannot hurt you anyomore.
