every one has a fourm they joined, were they learned about the internet. What was the name of that fourm?
(thought it would be a interesting idea for a topic. >.>)
For me it was a little place called Chao Island. Never had more then about 20 active members at a time. But it was home till it went down.

My first internet group was a Yahoo club called Shadows of Faery, a place where all of us had the theme of being interesting in faerie lore while also knowing there's a dark side to that lore, and faeries weren't originally seen as sparkly little Tinkerbell types. Well, maybe I should say "is," because it's still around, and I'm still a member, eight years later.

I still am in a really small forum called Nerv-Archiv, only like 15 active members who know nearly everything about NGE and like to diskuss their knowledge. This is fun

Hmmm, good question! It was so many years ago. The Poll Vault perhaps. Maybe The Best of MS.

I started at the Gamefaqs Boards, posting my anti-FF7 rants and such. But my first real community experience was with a site called RPG Infinity, the original version of which is no longer around.

MSF, for me, as far as messageboards go. Either way, MSF was the point when I become more than just a lurker/browser wherever I went. And I still prefer being a loner to this day...

Messageboards? Half and half between the original FM and my own little one on ezboards.
Before that, though, I was fairly active for a while on the RanmaML.

The original Transforum, a rather popular Transformations based board. It eventually died, and I miss it. My board is pretty much the only surviving spin-off.

I started at GameFaqs, from there I moved on to ClanBob, to EGS, then Jimmyinwhite introduced me to the EZboards of MSF. The date I joined the EZboards is in my sig.
I'm currently avctive at GaiaOnline (where I run a Transformer's guild), Fukufics(They pre-read my fanfics), and Degree-Anime (fairly slow, but hey they made me a mod.)

I was a kid, 8 years ago I joined that forum. I wanted an spanish board where you could host your art.
Ahhh, good times. Good times. I learned there about software development and a lot of anime and manga.
Until it went down.

Final Fantasy Fan Guilds was my original, followed by Wendor, later to be known as Windor. Spent some time as only a chatter in Guido's Sushi Bar and a member of the MogNet Central. Also a member of Evermore, Miscellaneous Magic Users Guild, COSAC, The Bakaretsu Era Japan (I might have that first name wrong), Dragon (something, I forgot the name of this one), and a handful of others. Oh, and Fukufics and Shinji The Good Sharer's message board. Though I think that last one I might no longer be a member since I haven't logged into it in a month.

I started at a place called FFFreak. Final Fantasy Freak. It was a small forum in a backwater area of the internet. Had a lot of laughs there, but then I eventually got bored and left. It died and disappeared soon after, but I am pretty sure that was completely unrelated to my departure...maybe.
Since I left that place, I was never again really good at sticking to and being active in any other forum I've joined, but umm...life goes on, I guess.

Whoa. Time warp.
For me, it's a board whose name I forget. It was an RPG board on ezboards, and it was fun until I just outgrew it. The second board was a branch board called Random.
That's where I got crazy. XD
After that, I jumped to a Kingdom Hearts board and, a few years later, here.
