After coming to the U.S. for the anniversary of the founding of Jamestown. Queen Elizabeth II, will be attending the Kentucky Derby being the highest profile figure to attend the derby in recent histoty.

Interesting note about the Queen, she loves horses, goofy hats and betting. Perfect for the Kentucky Derby. However is a question to everyone. If you were to meet the Queen do you know how to behave?

Monocle... HAH! That's funny. :P

I'd just say "Hello, miss" and sit down somewhere not next to her. :P

I'd ask her if she really knew Alucard, and if she was really part werewolf.

If she failed to get the references, I would attempt to introduce the Queen of England to Hellsing Manga and Doctor Who. (I'm pretty sure she knows Doctor Who...)

I'd so flash her.

With a camera.

Why, did you think that I meant something else?

I want to blind her so she falls down the steps and breaks her neck.

I can see it now... "Another flash-toting peon causes royalty to die."

Ha!

I'd turn on my maximum courteous and polite mode. If she wanted a handshake, I'd take off my gloves - otherwise she has the right to suspect that I want to assassinate her.

I would show he an extended family tree that shows that I am related to her husband(very distant) and then kill her and her family until my family rules and then I would turn it into a turn Monarchy.

Probably say hello, and then go on my way. If she demanded a better response, I would be liable to ask her who she thinks she is, the queen of Britain? How do I know I would do this? I've met a lot of pretentious people and most of them barely get a head nod from me so I would think a hello would be more than sufficient.

At this point Britain can't really be turned into a traditional monarchy. The royal family doesn't really rule anymore, you know.

From what I've heard about the queen, I doubt she'd demand anything from you. She really isn't a snob who goes around ordering people to do stuff.

Actually, I do have a basic idea of how to greet royalty.... Too much historical fiction, I guess. And know what? I'm going down to Colonial Williamburg the end of this month- and she'll be visiting Jamestown (same area) for some sort of anniversary only a week before. So we're just missing being there at the same time. Odd, huh?

I would greet her claiming to be Mary Queen of Scotts. I would proceed to execute on charges of treason for creating a schism in the church via Anglicaniserism. With that out of the way, I'd invade France, because England has been slacking off with that for a while. Soon all of Europe would fall to me, in the manner that these things do, and the world would be under the dominion of a crazy man who intermittantly claimed to be Mary Queen of Scotts.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is reason number 12481 why I must never go out in public ;p

It might be slightly derailing, but am I the only one that finds it oddly ironic that she would address the Virginia Legislature (the oldest legislative body in the Americas), once the stomping grounds of Jefferson and precoursor to much of the US government?
