Depends on your perception of pedophilia. I don't consider the law to be accurate since the law can not only vary but change over time. I know I've said this before a long while ago, but I consider pedophilia to be at an age before menarche. It's more sound to me since its technicality is universal.

Unless you actually meant a time before menarche. I just know that it wasn't uncommon for young girls that were post-menarche to either be married and/or copulated with.

Sorta and exactly don't mix. ;p

And I don't think that applies to the whole of ancient Greece, being that that's just Spartan pederasty. So, do you still mean ancient Greece in general, or just Sparta? I vaguely remember the last time ancient Greece was discussed and one problem was that it depended on what time in ancient Greece that certain things, like homosexuality, were more commonplace. But, as far as this Spartan pederasty is concerned, it seems like they didn't condone pedophilia. Well, insomuch as sexual intercourse is concerned; otherwise it just seems like a sort of mental bonding that could lead to homosexuality later on. Hrm...
