So, what's up?

Postby Mitera Nikkou » Sat Jun 16, 2007 7:18 am

I was looking at one of Stellar's older posts, while I was looking for the one to save, and I came across a link that led to a post that I had made a year ago today. It got me to think about how out-of-touch I've been lately, and how I'm always getting more subdued the more I notice people missing. It's kind of pathetic seeing as I don't have a life to interfere with anything that I do at MSF.

I dunno... It's not like it's never on my mind, 'cause my activities and intentions always are, but they often seem to escape me. Just the thought of planning to do something seems to derail me. So, since I'm failing to do much of anything socially (although that's certainly not the only area), I was wondering if anyone felt like telling me how they were doing, what's been happening, and other such stuffs.

Sorry, that's about as good as I can express myself right now. I doubt an explanation for what inspired this post would enlighten anyone. It's probably best that stuff about me remain a mystery anyway. ^_^;

shrug it happens... as i usually say if you talk to me.

anyways i graduated college and now work at a IT company. So my activity has decreased alot i usually drop by but don't post as frequently but such is life. Alot of idea's i have i don't bother with simply cause i know i don't have the time to actually press forward the idea's into reality at the moment, that and i rather just spend my free time doing other things then planning.

either way

Well, I just finished wrapping stuff for Father's Day. And helped my dad stick some hooks in the ground to hang hanging flowers off of. And I play in a weekly BESM 2e game so late on Friday Night its actually Saturday Morning, and that's after GMing a Beyond the Supernatural 2e game on Fri Night. So after all the Mountain Dew I drink I don't typically get to bed til around 4 or 5 am. Last night the sun was coming up before I fell asleep.

I'm an inventor so I'm working on my invention on and off. And I have a ton of side projects to do. The way I get stuff done is mostly just going "Ok! Right now I'm going to do X!" and then going and doing it. If I plan too much I never get around to it in a timely manner.

I'm currently working like a hard-working dog so I don't have to work once next semester starts. If anyone ever considers working in a warehouse, make sure you're in shape first. Cuz that's what I'm doing, and I'm not, so it sucks.

Other than that, I'm just chillin at home, trying to deal with writer's block. I have all sorts of things I want to write, but I can't ever just hunker down and do it. I still have yet to find my "happy place" for the writer part of me.

Oh, and I also just recently built a sandbox/treefort for my nephews and nieces. It's hilarious watching them shoot off the slide that's built too high and fast. Ah, there will be plenty of memories and broken bones from that place.

I have 45 hour weeks at Taco Bell since our General Manager quit! X_X We only have an assistant manager, an almost assistant manager, myself (a shift leader) and a soon to be shift leader (he has like another week before his promotion is final) for managment!

I hate it.

But there's good news in my life. Chase increased my credit limit from 500 to 900... But... That doesn't really matter to me... After I pay off the remaining 250 I have on it I probly won't use it for anything big again.

And lastly! My computer should arrive on the 19th ^_^

Well, that wasn't quite lastly.

I have more Taco ranting to do. Everyone at our store is quiting one by one. And it's only the people that I really like to have around. The two people I really considder friends in real life hate Taco Bell less then me, but aren't in an important position, so one of them quit last week, and the other put in her two week notice today. And I'm bad with friendships off the computer... So I haven't really had contact with the one that quit last week. Wich sucks.

But hey, I'll beable to forget about all of this when I get my computer hooked up and get back to my mmos.

Heh, well I quit my job about two months ago after they tried to accuse me of stealing equipment twice in two weeks. Since I work in IT that is expensive equipment so I wasn't about to stick around to see what else they would misplace and lay the blame on me for. So far I've been pretty much sitting back and watching anime, playing video games, and returning to my old lifestyle from back during middle and highschool of appearing all about the net and wrecking my own kind of havoc. Also have returned to running rps, something that motivates me to actually get up in the morning for more than proving I'm still breathing.

Today my sister reminded me that she used to be an actual fanfic author back around 2000 known as §ilviechan and we were having some chuckles about our old writing projects plus negociating me being allowed to continue work on a book series we were working on even though she has stopped working with me. I don't like to use other peoples characters without their permission. Other than me working on my old projects returning to life, I'm not really doing anything.

Zero:

Ah, a nice, relaxing stabification. I haven't had one of those for a while. :O

Rowan:

I wish I had the resources to invent stuff. Y.Y

Muffinstud:

Working sucks! Although sitting around with all of the time in the world and little use of it sucks as well. Need a happy place, huh... Have you tried the wacky weed? ;p

Stellar:

I wouldn't be able to stand such a working environment, thus why I don't try. XD My best bet is probably as an author. Perhaps. ;/

I may or may not try to ruin your fun in an MMO, as you already know. I've yet to find an MMO that's interesting, and the less interesting the less amount of time I'll be able to be attentive to playing it.

Beyond + Raleigh:

What's this IT stuff? I dun understand. :O

Well, the resources required to invent something is wholly dependent upon what you're trying to invent.

A simple, small mechanical device may only run a few hundred dollars if you need to buy the tools too.

The whole thing could range anywhere between two and ten grand. Usually a customization of something existing costs more than the finished product that's already on the market. My biggest problem is having the money to build the main part of the whole thing. The changed part would be cheap and seeing it work would convince someone that both parts would make a working product, but I haven't been able to make the cheaper part and, even if I could, I don't even know if my father would want to make the venture with me. And he's the only person that I can think of that would have the resources to fund it, perhaps beyond just making a prototype.

Selena:

So do I. So we must continue to try to change that.

Raleigh:

Ah, I see. That's certainly not a field I'd be good in. I wouldn't be able to keep up with the details.

Cobbling together prototypes is the fun part

IT might sound like its hard, but I was honestly having a hard time staying awake at my job anyway. You can only solve the same issue for the same person so many times before it grows old. I kept telling them to stop downloading those screen savers but do they listen... nooooo.
