Through Stellar eyes.

A few days ago, a customer commented to me about me coming off as rude. Why? Because 'I wouldn't look straight at him.' I appologised and told him I just can't focus real well, to shut him up and get him out of drive thru.

Honestly though, I just have trouble looking at humans. My eyes will just zone out and I guess make it appear like I'm looking behind the subject. I don't know why I do it. There are some people who I can see eye to eye with without having to think about it. Other's, like co-workers, and friends, take a few months before I start seeing them without having to think about not seeing past them.

I dunno, it just bothers me that someone thought I was rude for something that I don't do on purpose. I guess that explains why the character 'Stellar' has eyes that aren't typical human eyes. That's not particularly what she sees different, it's just something equivelant of my own flaw as a special feature to her.

I think this condition is fairly common. I have been told I always come across as either guilty, lying, or cold because I refuse to look people in the eyes. I don't like doing it, they have no business looking into my eyes just as I have no business looking into theirs and that is all there is to it. Its a shame the world expects this kind of thing, almost as annoying as hand shakes.

Well, honestly, most humans totally suck anyway. I don't much like looking at people either.

He must be stuck up or delusional. I wouldn't worry about it. There are some odd people out there, but they're not all bad.
It's like my dad used to say:

Dad wrote:Humans. They're great folks. But they're just a little crazy.

He likes to joke about stuff.

If that's the way you are, then that's fine. He was being rude.

I agree with Cenzo. They seem to be nitpicking about something that I doubt many people notice, unless your eyes are averted rather than focused directly beyond them. It's pretty much silly since I've come across a few people whose eyes weren't "aligned", so it seemed like they're not really looking at you when indeed they were.

You do a lot better than me, though, Stellar. I prefer to look at anything but people. I know floors better than most people's faces.

Yeah, me too. I hate the way most people act, so I seclude myself from them; nasty bunch of hypocrites, the lot of them.

There are alway many kinds wof people...
I mean, there are even people who jsut have to look in someones eyes when they talk to them, what can be quiet disturbing, when you are driving...

I myslef sometimes like to look at humans, mostly my friends. When people are my friends I always think they are beautyfull :D So I like to watch them and their little movements, but the normal guy is way too uninteresting to be watched.
