I remember when USPS priority shipping was $4, not too many years ago. And within two years from now I remember it being $6. But now it's $10. What's going on here? I'm almost positive that this change has occurred in the course of four years or so. I guess this is due to the cost of fuel for transportation?

Pretty much, though the most radical change has been recently cause USPS totally redid how they do rates now, so that causes the price to rise substantially.

Yeah, but up four dollars in just a few years? I might as well spend money for two-day shipping. ;/

Well, look at fuel prices over the last few years. Seriously, it's insane. Gas prices already can vary over 30 cents over just a few weeks, and compared to a few years ago, people are paying a LOT more on fuel than before. USPS isn't any different. <<;

I can't wait to save the world from this problem! I only wish that I had been more fortunate in the funding department. :(

Yeah, no kidding, huh?

Well, in the end, it's all economics, really. If you can't pay for the mail... you don't send it.
