It randomly dies on me every once and awhile. Up until now it has been at worst an hour or two of "page cannot be displayed" But today I have been spending the past... eight hours trying to get on to MSF.

Pity meh!

Yeah, well... school starts in two days. I figure I waste my life when I can.

Also all I had to do was watch a movie and hit refresh every few minutes until MSF started working again. XD

Bwahahahaaaa!!

I've been wondering what the problem is. It happens too often for me and it's starting to get on my nerves. Early this afternoon nothing would load, and two days ago had been another one of those days where I got a lot of pages timing out and the "scenery" not loading up. For months now, with how I check the forums multiple times a day, I could swear that every one of those days had some hours of, at least, slowdown. Such as taking more than two minutes to do one thing or another. (You know, wait two minutes to get into a forum, wait two minutes to get into a topic, wait two minutes to open a reply page, wait two minutes to submit it, then wait two minutes to see the finished post.) It's ridiculous. If I knew where the problem lied, I'd go on a crusade to fix it immediately. Or, at least, find someone with the skills to sort it out, if it's beyond me. And most things usually are beyond me. XD

Its a good thing that this forum is SO FREAKING AWESOME.

But I am glad that I am not the only one suffering.

Misery loves company. ^_^

I'm just glad that it wasn't because the domain itself was neglected.

I've warned the site owner time and time again that if it happens again, I intend to swoop in and usurp the site and community.

Yup, didn't work for me most of the day today. On my computer, up until 8:30ish it was out. I was able to get on on my Wii earlier this morning to check things, but even that failed later on.

This was the longest it's ever been out for me.

I think MSF has a bit of a Labor day at least once every week. ;/ I can't see how it would be a server problem, since we'd see something about server maintenance and whatnot. My best guesses are these at this point: bots refreshing and scraping pages; the PHP could work more harmoniously in certain areas or something. The reason for the former is because there wasn't this much trouble until stuff was done to prevent spam bots from posting, and the latter because it seems like not everyone is affected at the same time (because I've seen others posting faster than I could when I was having trouble just trying to browse). Of course, these are just guesses from an idiot. ;p

I wonder if Powweb has something or someone that examines (and then fixes) stuff. I'd be willing to spend the money for something like that.

But you may not be the only one that would want to do that. Dun-dun-dunnnn!

Aye, I know the feeling. It's all I can do to keep from throttling my computer.
