Just curious as to what happened to our normal forum's place. I wasn't here when they went down so was wondering what kinds of problems came up and such. Ohh and wondering if there is any ideas others might have on the problem.

Eirien may know. I don't know enough about PHP and MySQL and/or SQL (or what the difference is between those two XD) to understand what could have happened. It doesn't seem to be the size of the database, at least; seeing as it's working now at the same size (though relatively bigger) as it was before. Perhaps something went wrong with the code somewhere, or, as my paranoia would suggest, was committed by an evildoer. ;p
Either way I reckon that the code stuff should be updated or something. Things change, after all; gotta keep up or things end up not working quite like you'd want them to. ;/

Basically the short of it is that MSF is in the process of changing to a more stable server (yey no more white screen of death), but there have been some technical issues in the mean time.
We hope things won't be too disrupted, but if you run into any problems please post in the help area about it. Please document it as best you can so we can fix it. Thanks.

I see. I was asking so that way not only would I know but so everyone doesn't ask Eirien or other mods. And because I wanted to know myself.

"MySQL and/or SQL (or what the difference is between those two XD)"
MySQL is a single database program. SQL is a standard language for running queries on databases.
